Heath Ledger went out with a bang in this movie! He did a fantastic job acting crazy. Sometimes, I couldn't even tell it was him. The flow of the movie keeps you watching and the action sequences are mind-blowing. This movie is a big peice of pop culture to have for your collection.
What's great about it: Great plot, great acting, Heath Ledger
What's not so great: No more Heath Ledger
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just when I thought they couldn't outdo BB, I was wrong again! The Joker/Heath Ledger comes to Gotham to create absolute chaos in the city, just as Harvey Dent/Arron Eckhart, Batman/again Christian Bale and Jim Gordon/Gary Oldman almost restore order.
I didn't think anyone could outact Jack Nicholson as the Joker, boy! I'm glad to be wrong there. Jack's version was way over the top as the Joker, Heath Ledger was somewhat more subtly menacing, and he appears to hold his own. Christian Bale still does a good Batman, even with his raspy voice, but that bothered my friends more than it did me, I understood he did that for disguising purposes. Can't forget to mention Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon, because so many times he plays an over the top villian, he's very good in this role as well. Special mention must be made to Arron's Harvey Dent, the burn-make up is very creepy and convincing.
Chris Nolan and David S. Goyer once again do a very good direction/script, check it out!
What's great about it: almost everything
What's not so great: very few features on the 2-disc DVD
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Dark Knight is one of the greatest batman movies ever. Christaphor Nolan is a fantastc director, and with a great cast. Hans Zimmer is the best !!! The music in this movie is epic !!! This movie is highly recommended !!!
What's great about it: Simply one of the greatest batman movies ever !!!
What's not so great: very few features on the 2-disc DVD

the dark knight is, without a doubt the greatest film ever made. much better than Slumdog Millionaire. i cant wait for the last film on July 20, 2012!

The best of all the Batman movies made, this DVD is worth having for so many reasons - graphics, stellar acting, plot, action stunts, etc.
My only note of caution... if you're big on lots of DVD Extras, this disc isn't the one for you - get the special edition with all the extras, cause this one doesn't have any.
What's great about it: Awesome movie
What's not so great: no DVD extras

This was my proudest buy for Christmas last year. The movie is fantastic, the acting was phenomenal, and this CE turned out to be a great addition to my Bat-nerds collection.
Although the Blu-Ray disc holder is literally part of the figurine display, if you return it to the plastic box you bought it in, you can slide it into a square place.
I think I'll have a difficult time topping this one ... he's getting gloves and a hat this year.
What's great about it: It's a collectible item
What's not so great: It must have it's own space... it doesn't fit next to your other movies
I would recommend this to a friend!
