Amazing noise-cancelling and sound!

I have had the older version of these headphones (QC20i) for about 1.5 years. I bought then in June or July of 2014. I must, say these headphones work just as well today as they did the day I first used them. I am a graduate student with ADD, so studying for me can be quite difficult, without these headphones. They block so much noise and truly make anything sound amazing. I always listen to music when I study or do schoolwork, so I wear these headphones at least 3-4 days a week, and have been using them almost daily since buying them. I will be buying a new pair of them to get the newer version, but there are absolutely nothing wrong with mine. The only thing I have had to replace is the silicone tips, which I do every 5-6 months so they stay tight. I can wear these headphones for 8-9 hours without any discomfort, and they rarely ever need to charge. I recommend these to every single person I can!

Perfect for riding

I travel a lot with my bike and the noise cancelling feature in this earphone works perfectly to quiet down the wind noise inside the helmet. Really, even when you use open-face helmet. It's like magic! I live in Brazil and bought it one year ago, I use it a lot and it's still like brand-new. Congratulations Bose!

Better Than I Hoped

These noise cancelling in-ear buds are absolutely the best. I couldn't believe how effective the noise cancelling feature is! I often wear them on my train commute and they cancel out almost ALL external sounds. Plus the music quality of the ear buds is typical Bose quality with the full range of sound from highs to bass. I also love the fact that the buds are comfortable after wearing for 2 hours and fit securely in my ears thanks to the 3 sizes of ear buds to choose from. They don't loosen or fall out even when walking or running to catch a train! I was even more pleased with these than I hoped for, and I'm a big fan of Bose products (have several). Don't be sidetracked buy other nitpicky reviewers who expect these to be something other than what they are designed for.

Don’t know what I’d do without these

I must have these at the gym! There are a lot of screaming kids at the Y and plenty of noise from the weight lifters. With these turned on, I can concentrate on my workout. I hear nothing but my music.
I also use them in waiting rooms to drown out all the distracting conversations , as well as at home to drown out whatever my husband is watching!
Well worth the expense for me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a pair of these earbuds (not really mine, my dad got them from my uncle) and I have started to use them daily in school and they're phenomenal. The sound canceling aspect of this pair is what makes them unique because, since they're earbuds, they can easily fit in your pockets and usually the only things that can cancel sound are headphones which aren't the easiest to put into a pant/shorts pocket. The only thing that I think should be changed is that, when the noise of an area that you're in gets to a certain level, and you have the noise canceling on, you can hear it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I bought these my primary use was to block out the sound of the train and airplane. I use them for just about anything! They are small yet powerful when it comes to noise cancelation. A truly amazing product by a truly amazing company.

best "Buds" ever!

I had them for about 18 months. My daughter and I were on a flight together last month. She loved them so much that she will not give them back. I am about to order another pair as soon as I post this review.
