Disappointed

I bought this a while ago.The sound quality is great. My only concern is that the rubber casing that has the Bose Logo wore off pretty quickly. Also with time I noticed part of the audio jack was falling apart hence I cannot use it when on a call. So now am left with using them for listening to music only. Not good for Bose.

Boightvthis and for the first two months they were absolutely fantastic! But then the seam where the plastic meets in the middle on the ear bud came in half and screamed in my ear, and I couldn't hear too well for the next couple days out of that ear.

Great sound and noise cancelling

I bought them a week ago and the sound and noise camcelling are great. I travel a lot and I barely heard the noise from the plane and was able to sleep comfortably. The price tag is high. My only serious complain is that the bag they provide is too small for the device. Ot twists the cables which in tine is going to affect the sound quality. I expected a better bag design that ensured a long lasting quality product from bosse.

Big Bose fan but cable broke after 2 years

I am an avid Bose fan with more than 10 different products in my house. First time I am having a problem...The cable attaching to the male connector wore apart and now bare wires are exposed. I guess I used this about 30 times on various plane trips over the last 2 years. I tried to get help at a store and was told I needed to buy a new pair. I now need new headphones but just can't bring myself to buy these again.

durability issues

I purchased the QC20 NC in-ear headphones 20 months ago and have thoroughly enjoyed the fit, sound quality, and noise cancelling. However in the last week the right earbud has become intermittent. I am posting this review before calling customer support. I suspect one of the wires has worn and is not making consistent contact. I am extremely careful with my use and fastidious with returning them to the storage case. I would purchase another pair but the cost is a bit steep for less than two years of use. Last year I purchased a pair of QC35 wireless NC headphones for my wife and she loves them. The form factor is larger and I suspect durability is easier to maintain.

Great Headset for plains but they won't last long

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my QC 20 for travel. I fly about 120-140K miles a year. I loved them for the inflight movies as well as plugging them into my tablets (Both Kindle and iPad). Yes they have a wire but that is what you need for a plane. The sound is great and the cancelation is wonderful and the fit is great too. Battery life is an issue with all head phones. However, after about 2-3 years they one of the earbuds started to come apart and a sharp sound would come out of one of the ear buds. I've tried another wireless brand and it has not been good. What I would love to see is a wireless set with a backup wire for flying then I would buy another set from Bose today. Until then I remain torn been the QC 30 and the QC 20.

Got these as a gift and after a year and a half of use, the wire for one earbud is coming apart. I take great care of my electronics and always store them in the case. This should not be happening with a pair of headphones that cost 250$.

Poor design!

On my second pair after returning the first pair under warranty. The sounds is fantastic and the noise cancelling feature really works great but the design is horrible! Why would you bend a wire at the port is beyond me! Just over a year on second pair and wire at port began to fray and wires at the noise cancelling switch has similar issue. Now looking for another pair on headphones :(. Expect more from a $250+ product
