Amazing , amazing ear buds. Only negative is they stick out of your ear enough that its not comfortable when laying on a pillow. I would still buy, work very well.

Loved it while it worked

I've had my headphones for about three years. Although they were expensive, they worked as promised: small, rechargeable, and great for travel. Unfortunately, now the headphones have intermittently stopped noise cancelling on left side; at times the headphones also emit a piercing electronic sound on the left side.

Don't use mic in office spaces

I love my headphones for their noise cancelling, sound quality, and comfort. Unfortunately, the microphone picks up all of the noise around me. I'm in a walled cubicle in an office with an average amount of noise (calls, but not constant, some mid-hall meetings, but not too many). It's very distracting for anyone on the other end of the skype call - they can hear any conversations and even hear other people typing. I try to mute myself anytime I'm not talking, otherwise everyone else on the call is distracted. It's not great for first impressions when meeting people for the first time over skype. A coworker at another location recommended these. I'm not sure if her location is that much quieter or if it's just my set. I'm purchasing another, much cheaper set of headphones for my calls. I'm very disappointed that for the price of these, they couldn't be the only pair I use.

Absolutely Fantastic Noise Cancellation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been sitting on, running around with, and quite honestly abusing these earbuds for the past year and four months. After abusing them for I'd say at least 1500 hours of listening, the sound quality is still fantastic is going strong. HOWEVER, the noise cancelling module has started to peel off and die on me. Let me be clear, the sound quality is not being impacted at all, it's just the module's skin peeling to reveal the plastic underneath. Still no problems in terms of sound, comfort, or anything else. I'll be back if and when these guys run out on me. It'll be sooner or later.

Great sound but durability disappoints

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned my QC20 headphones for 3 years, and they are starting to fall apart. The wire is now exposed in headset and the rubber coating has mostly peeled off the main unit. So the question is whether 25 cents a day is worth it for great sound? The sound is still excellent, and I use the headphones daily at my desk as I sit in an open office. They are also great on planes when I travel. I had previously owned a couple of pairs of the on-ear noise cancelling headphones. I prefer the in-ear buds as I find them more comfortable to wear over a long period of time. I am now contemplating whether to buy another pair, as I have found in the past that once the wires started to deteriorate, it gets worse fast. I prefer the jack to bluetooth as I use with several devices, but if I upgrade my iPhone I will no longer have a jack. I will probably get another pair, but I do wish they would last longer.

Nice product overall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the Bose heritage design that only the QC20 can have. It's special. I like the noise cancelling feature and of course, the aware mode. I can either delete or amplify my environmental sounds when I need to. Sound is okay. It has the genuine Bose sound with nice Bass. Though being nearly 5 years since these were released, I'm sure there should be a next series of these. Using a lightning to 3.5mm converter with a battery pack makes everything seem so bulky and heavy.
Also, referring to many other reviews it seems that the durability of these headphones
