I JUST RECENTLY PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT. WHEN I TOOK IT OUT OF THE BOX IT WAS DEFECTIVE. THE MACHINE PRINTS BLACK EDGES ON ALL PAGES, THE DRUM INDICATES IT NEED TO BE REPLACED AND THE MACHING FROM TIME TO TIME STOPS PRINTING AND STATES MEMORY IS FULL. I HAVE TO TURN IT OFF TO RE-SET IT BEFORE IT WILL REPRINT.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice machine at a reasonable price. My only draw back is that I wish ink were a little cheaper, however I've been using it for over a month now and still have not had a cartridge run out!

I am having trouble getting three brother products to connect to a windows 7 computer and download software does not install properly.

great aesthetics which looks good in the office. Over three months in service and no problems, no jams and great input. Only improvement, display and output could be a bit faster.

This is a great machine for the price and my in home use. Seems to have all the functionality that anyone that works from home needs and the Brother support is great. I'm hoping that it is a little more economical than my previous machine but have only had it a couple weeks...
