Worse Printer Ever!

This printer requires that you replace new parts frequenty and is very fussy about using Genuine Brother cartridges, which are very expensive. The printer will just quit working if it needs a new toner or part. I hate this printer!!!

Lot's of great features

It does everything pretty well, I don't use the fax but I need the other features. I have had problems with the duplexing with certain paper. It's happier with thinner paper.

I like all the features of the printer and even though I don't need or use the fax, it's a nice option to have. The trouble shooting when it's necessary is easy and straightforward. I just wish the toner cartridges were less expensive.

This printer has been just the thing for a small office. I would definitely consider it for a home printer too - although it has extra features I may not use there all the time, it's been such a pleasure to use. A huge step up from the 'desk-jet all-in-ones' that cost way too much just for ink. Brother has been a very good company with their support also.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Only two relatively minor issues. First, it seems to be a bit loud when running a job. Second, wish it came in black.

Color is great. auto feeder works well even with large stack of papers. does dual sided printing.

This machine is very good everything works perfectly, copy, scan and fax.

I love this MFC!

I replaced a color inkjet MFC and a B&W laser with this one unit. I have not had one misfeed from this printer and it doesn't curl the paper like my old laser did. I do wish I could go straight to email on scans like my old MFC did, but other than that it's great. And it's extremely fast in printing with a very quick wakeup from sleep.
