This just works!

This multi function is for my home office and it just works. Nothing fancy but it always works . I love this printer. yes its little pricey, but reliability is worth it. IT JUST WORKS!!!!

I purchased this model to replace another Brother laser printer that was B&W only and not duplex scan. This model is exactly asd described and was easy to set up. It is always ready and the ink never dries out because it is a laser - no more running to the store for ink just because it got dry!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Uses a lot of black toner

Very easy to use and hook up. But it uses up black toner quickly and is expensive

Great all purpose printer

I bought this printer for my home use. As such it sometimes does not get used for two or three weeks. But periodically I have print jobs of 100 pages or more with color graphics. It has always printed with great quality. I have also printed some photos and was surprised by the great results!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Printer, Easy to Use!

We bought this printer for it's dependability and easy to use directions. The printer was fairly easy to set up, maybe a little harder to get the wireless network installed but overall easier than for some systems. It has worked flawlessly since installation, about 3000 copies, and it's our go to printer for everyday use in our household.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No bad....

Toner lasts longer than ink, however frequently doesn't bond with paper. Have to reprint more frequently than I feel I should. Can't print several envelopes conveniently.

I love this printer. Works great except for one thing; I can't keep the scanner connected to my computer and it isn't easy to figure out how to do is. But it isn't. Very frustrating. I have a Brother HL-2280DW with a similar problem but after clicking a thousand times trying to connect the scanner, I figured it out. Not so with the MFC. This ought to be an easy fix, simple, straightforward, a 10 year old could do it. But this 74 year old with over 40 years computer experience can't seem to make it happen. Fix it Brother!
