Worked great for 4 years

After 4 years the oven burner stopped working and required service. This is the 3rd Samsung appliance in the past year that has required service after only 3-4 years of regular use. These appiances are priced at a premium but you do not get what you paid for. I'm ready to replace all of my appliances (which are all Samsung) with other, more reliable brands. They should just stick to electronics.

Congenital problems with Samsung gas ranges

bought a samsung gas range 9 yrs ago. 4 yrs ago the bake igniter went out. then this model buttons on the display went out. fixed.then the oven light blinking.now the igniter has gone out again!

Wrong Door

we purchased this range, but received the same model number, but with this door: https://www.samsung.com/us/home-appliances/ranges/gas/5-8-cu-ft-freestanding-gas-range-with-convection-nx58m5600sw-aa/ . it is far different than the picture displayed in the ad / on this home depot website. we talked to home depot and samsung and they sent out a replacement, but the replacement was again the wrong range door from the one we purchased...so we rejected the delivery. again, the door we received was from the model i linked to above.

Oven quit working just out of warranty

bought this expensive samsung stove fir the features and samsung reputation. the oven wuit working just after warranty expired. haven’t used the oven very much. very little. oven stopped working today. from reviews seems to be a huge problem. have other samsung appliances and tv’s but will never buy another product from this company. poor quality for an expensive price. would give zero stars if i could.

Includes LP adaptor kit and griddle!

I am so happy! I was able to use the occasion of needing to replace my old electric range and was so excited to upgrade to a gas range!
This range is incredibly beautiful and very nicely designed.
I am using my new range with propane and I was so pleased that the range included the adaptor kit!
Also, the griddle is included, so no need to make an extra purchase. (I also looked at a similar gas range by another manufacturer and the extra expenses for the conversion kit and griddle would have added nearly $150. to the price of that range.)
The documentation that came with the range is excellent, as well as Samsung's online resources.
I did have a little trouble adjusting the low simmer flame on a couple of the burners until I viewed the video online.
Samsung's customer support has been excellent as well. I have used the live chat function as well as telephone support. Everything has been excellent.
One final advisory though, the BTU output of the surface burners is less using LP than with natural gas. With that consideration, I wish I would have purchased the model with a round, general use center burner than the one with the oblong burner, The lower output due to the fuel makes the center burner a bit of a disappointment. Well, it just takes longer to heat the griddle and the griddle does not get as hot as I would like. The product is designed very well. I simply should have chosen differently. I only mention it here for others' consideration when deciding what model to get. Either way, I cannot see going wrong with this range!

Very disappointed!

Purchased Gas Range Model #NX58F5500SW/AA in Nov. 2016. Had it installed February 2017. In May 2018 (18 months later) oven would not light. Needed oven igniter kit ($347.04). Three months later in August 2018, broiler would not light. Needed broiler igniter kit (328.71). Purchase price of appliance was $549.00.
Repairs totaled over $665.
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For unknown reason I am not able to use my oven. The button for baking among other digital buttons including the start button do not work. Only thing working is the burner right now. I am very disappointed with this brought. I can't do Samsung broughts anymore.

I LOVE this stove

Since I rely so much on customer reviews I felt it necessary to talk about this stove. I've had it for 3 weeks and haven't had time to try everything yet, but so far every feature I used was great. I used the bread proofing to make pizza dough and had a pizza within 2 hours after the thought crossed my mind. The multi-purpose burners are great. I used the large middle burner for both the griddle concept and as a burner. Initially I thought that the flame was too low for the griddle, but it made perfect pancakes. It also saved me when I was preparing a large quantity of pot roast for a family dinner. I had too much meat to fit into my baking pan to roast in the oven for 5 hours. I didn't have time to do this twice. I took the extra roast and put it in another baking pan and cooked it on the large middle burner on top of the stove while the other roasts were cooking in the oven. I was able to set my sauce on the rear simmer burner and walk away from it for hours without worrying about it burning. My sour cream coffee cake was perfect. The pull out oven rack is great. I had to check the manual regarding the convection feature. On my prior electric stove, the convection fan went on immediately. On this stove it doesn't come on until the desired temperature is achieved and then goes on and off intermittently. Oven heats up fast.
Easy to clean and keep clean.
Pros: Inexpensive, looks like a commercial stove
