Poor Performance

The stove top is very hot. Unable to get burners low enough to simmer, they continue to boil. I had a smooth top range before and I find this top very difficult to clean. Seems to soil easily and difficult to get spots off. I find the oven extremely frustrating. It never registers the temp it is set for. Indicates it is a set temp when it is not when preheating. If the divider is in it the bottom oven does not get to temp set for, but remains much lower. Takes longer for product to be done. For example took bars 10 to 15 min longer to get done than in previous stove oven, and they were less successful. Oven was set on bake. Another time oven set at bake 350 and highest thermometer went was about 313. With divider in the top oven seems to run hot, but could that be because it is a small space?? Runs about 25 degrees hotter. The oven seems to work best without the divider. A technician was here and was uncertain it could function any better. I have been baking and using an oven for 50+ years and have never had a problem with an oven before. I find this oven very frustrating. I do not feel the divider accomplishes what I would have expected. I would appreciate a call from Samsung about this issue.

Poor Graphics

I purchased this range in early 2015. While the the products works effectively and without issue, I noticed that the graphics above the burner knobs which indicates which burner is lit are wearing off . Since this is considered cosmetic, it is not covered by warranty. Eventually, they will wear off completely. I do not use this range everyday and use only stainless steel cleaner and soft cloth to clean. The graphics need to be affixed better.

Had this oven a little over a year, not used heavily! Oven stopped working, needs a quote" new mother board" already!!!! Sooo very disappointed in this oven, paid alot for this, had a cheap one prior to this, remodeled kitchen, and that one was still working after 12 years!!!
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the features of this range. The flex duo oven is ideal for anyone who likes to cook. The cooktop is perfect for any size pot or pan, even my griddle works great with the bridge feature.
The sleek look really sets off my kitchen. A great range at a reasonable price.

The legs need to be upgraded

Had issues with the plastic legs, If not careful when leveling the unit the plastic legs can be stripped. The legs should be upgraded to metal and provide slots in the feet so that a flat screw driver could be inserted to adjust the feet.

So far very happy with my new Samsung range, After changing many different brand ranges failed on me . Stove top cooking is great, even heating, cleans up easily, powerful burners . Oven cooks evenly , excellent results . Controls are intelligently placed and work well and overall looks great. Happy with my purchase!

Double duty!

I love my slide in range. The oven is great, I replaced a double oven with this and because my Samsung has Flex Duo I don't miss them at all. It seems that the lower oven takes longer to heat than the upper portion while using the flex duo cooking option, but not enough to matter while coordinating times. The stove top is wonderful. It heats quickly and cooks evenly. I found that I lean to reach my Samsung over the range microwave and it would "wake up" the oven so the "lock" function works like a charm. Now, no more inadvertent "wake ups". A beautiful design. So glad we went with Samsung.
Pros: Inexpensive

Very disappointed with this range

Oven: the top oven tends to cook like a broiler, even on the bake setting. When cooking with just the bottom oven, food takes longer to bake than it should. With the convection setting, baked goods do not get done in the bottom of the pan, even though the top tests done.
Range: the cooktop is difficult to clean, and the instructions say not to use anything abrasive to clean it. How else do you remove stubborn stains?
Timer: the timer sound is so faint that I cannot hear it in the family room, which is adjacent to the kitchen.
Pros: Bright display, looks stylish
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, poor performance
