Bad Burner

One if the burners broke within one month of usage; however, replacement of the burner was made within 3 days after I notified Samsung of the problem. Will purchase extended warranty coverage in case this is a recurring problem.
Pros: great design
Cons: quality assurance from factory is dissapointing

Great Range

I have actually bought this range twice. We replaced a range at our last home with this exact model. We liked it so much that when we moved, we bought another for the new home. It works flawlessly and heats very quickly. We do use the dual oven function almost all the time. Cooking time is less than our old ranges which saves power and time.
Pros: Bright display, Durable

Mostly Great - But Partition Sensor Sticks/ Radiant Surface Elements Overheat/Electric Plug Position May Need to Be Moved

I love most things about this oven. The design is sleek. Love the warming drawer and the ability to divide the oven. Absolutely love the gliding rack. I have had a few challenges though.
1- The partition design relies on a sensor in the back of the oven, which does not retract properly after a bit of use. I have had two service calls on this. Evidently the moisture in the food makes it "rust".
2 - The surface elements operate at higher temp than expected, so you need to adjust your settings. For example, medium heat would be 3 not 5 on 10 point scale
3 - Be sure to check where your electricity plug is before your installation. It needs to be near the floor. I had to make an emergency call to the electrician because I was not prepared for that.
I am hoping the problems are in the past now. My Samsung microwave needed a service call at first too - but its worked well since then.
Cons: defective partition sensor
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We recently moved into a 1700 sq. ft. condominium, but this range has allowed me to continue my love of cooking and entertaining. The Slide-in Flex-Duo Range provides the luxury of double oven availability, a warming tray, and 5 burners of various sizes on the stove top. Two of the burners will even convert to a large oblong heating element when I want to use the griddle and feed pancakes to the 5 grandchildren. We bought this range after listening to the raving reviews of another condo friend who is a gourmet cook and owns this same range. We have not been disappointed with our decision!

I replaced a pretty basic range with this slide-in. I love the flex drawer feature, it's so convenient. I like that I can use just the top, just the bottom, the top & bottom at different temperatures or use the whole oven. This is my first time using convection, I just searched for information (the manual is surprisingly vague) & had it figured out in no time. It definitely saves time & energy. The touch-screen is nice as well, it's fairly simple to operate, but I still have to pull out the manual from time to time. All in all, I'm very pleased.

Slide-In Electric Range with Flex Duo Oven- All the features you need

I like the glass top stove as it is easy to keep clean. I love the warming tray when you are entertaining. The stove has 5 burners, which is great when you are entertaining. The oven /broiler works very well. You can even split the oven into 2 units. The only issue I have is the location of the stove knobs. I have had people lean against them & accidently turn the stove on. Also, we need to watch the pad for the oven. Sometimes you swipe & the warming tray goes on.

So GLAD I purchased the range. Don't know why I waited so long. The Temp probe is fantastic, used it while baking a very large ham. Love the fact you can bake several foods at the same time, at different temperatures. It is SO EASY to operate.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: display very senitive to the touch

This is one sexy oven. It has everything one could ask for. The dual oven concept (slide-in separator) with the ability to make one large oven is simply amazing.
