Beautiful user-friendly electric range

The touch screen controls are very user-friendly. The oven is extra wide. We would have enjoyed having a warming drawer, but the rest of the stove is so nice we were willing to forego that. The 20-minute Steam Clean is a great feature! We made a great choice and would highly recommend it.

Control panel went out on the 364th day

During a self clean the control panel went out less than a year old.

Outstanding performance with sleek slide-in design

The stove top and oven look like more expensive professional models. The range and oven perform quickly and uniformly. It is my first experience with a convection oven and I find that it's balanced heating make it an easy transition. I also like that the door is closed during the broil function.
My only concern is that the touch display engages very easily. I expected that it would activate when the "wake up" position was touched, but the screen lights easily when any part is touched - as in wiping the oven front or glass screen. While the screen does light none of the oven functions have activated unintentionally which I expect is part of Samsung's thoughtful design.
Pros: design, speed, ease of use
Cons: supersensitivity of touch screen

Front panel Stopped Working

Didn't even have this a year and front panel quit responding when oven off is pressed. It comesa on when panel is just leaned on but has to be unplugged to turn off.
Very disappointed in this purchase.
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

High end look, good product, great price

Looks high end in the kitchen, but I bought for the sizable oven - 5.7 cf! Takes a little while for the burners and oven to get to temperature. The plug-in probe did not register correctly when I used it to roasted a chicken. It registered 178 took quickly so I checked with my trusty manual probe and it was 165 - raw chicken. Convection made no difference on my many cupcake adventures. Front buttons are great and the lock feature iw wonderful with a 2 year old grandson running around. Overall, I'm very happy with the range - especially for the price!
Pros: Inexpensive, oven size, lock out feature, huge oven
Cons: convection does not work, probe does not work
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Range

Have had our Samsung range for a couple of months and really love it. We saw reviews about the loud fan sounds from the convection oven. We have been using the oven regularly and have not been bothered by any noise or don't even seem to hear any noise.

Beautiful stove with flaws

We love and hate this stove at the same time. It's beautiful and works great, but there are issues. The top of the stove is very difficult to maintain. You can't just wipe it clean when finished cooking, as it shows everything and the stains seem to burn on the surface. Even water droplets mark the surface, so we have to polish it every time we use it. It also scratches very easily. It was hard to install, as you can't adjust the back legs once you slide it in place. For quality control, our stove had some minor dents under the plastic coating, which we couldn't see until the stove was installed. It also had a chip inside the oven door.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does just what one would expect

Fast boil burners do just that and keep the pot cooking when turned down to 2 or 1.
The two timers are not loud--a very nice feature as too many 'gadgets' are loud. They are quite audible.
We look forward to learning to use the 'keep warm' part.
Top is easy to keep clean--daily.
