Unreliable.

the first year was great. downhill after that, starting with the oven not heating properly. ending with the stove top not heating at all. after 6 years of ownership, we parted ways, and went with a different brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I used to love it. Didnt last long

purchased this in mid to late 2016. didnt use the oven much because i had a double oven i used a lot more for convenience. early 2019 we had a huge remodel due to mother nature so my stove/range was in storage for over 2.6 years.
fast forward, december 2021 got the stove from storage and plugged it up. waited 48 hours before plugging up. cooktop worked fine. however the oven that was hardly used doesnt heat well. broil doesnt work. oven takes 30 minutes to heat. the temp is much cooler than the temp it was set at. i have to turn the o en to 500 for it to really heat to 300. buyer beware

THIS RANGE IS A FIRE HAZZARD!!!

the day before yesterday we had this range hauled away. it has a fatal flaw - it is a fire hazzard!
you can easily engage burner knobs by just bumping into them. we had a fire as a result. thankfully only minor damage.
contacted samsung, sent service tech. tech said knobs working to specs.
both samsung customer service and tech said to remove knobs or use child locks!
wish we had known about this flaw. now we have paid for two ranges!

Shoddy merchandise in a pretty SS package.

oven won’t hold temperature. set to 375, check two minutes later might be 323 or 192. must stand over it & re-set it constantly while food cooks. precludes baking cookies - cupcakes that bake quickly as by the time oven reheats again & again they're ruined. large burner i use the most burns everything. all the settings on it are one temperature-"burn to a crisp." i’ve owned 2 samsung tv's, a samsung french door ss refrigerator and this samsung ss electric range with all the bells and whistles. i researched every one of them. all bad. this one in particular was 5 stars across the board. what a joke. it's difficult to get a product of quality these days but this one really stooped to new lows. i will say unequivocally i’ll never own another samsung product, lesson learned at great expense

I bought this stove in November 2019. I absolutely hate it. I will confess, I am a professional chef and I am particular about the equipment I use, but this is quite possibly the worst stove I have ever used, and I have lived in some crappy apartments! First, I agree with a lot of other reviewers, the oven temp drops significantly if you open the door, the glass top ALWAYS looks dirty and scratches if you just look at it, and it is very easy to bump the control knobs and turn the stove on/off without realizing (so dangerous!!). These issues are not specific to this range however.
My major issues with this stove are the complete lack of temperature control on the stove top and the quality/durability of the glass top.
Temperature control:
Glass cook tops can be difficult because they retain a lot of heat, so "reducing to a simmer" is difficult. However, I can boil water on "Lo." This makes a lot of delicate cooking I do very difficult.
Durability:
I was making dinner and a spice jar slipped out of my hand (I drop stuff, it's nothing new) and the glass cook top shattered, not cracked, shattered. This was a tiny little spice jar. I am concerned that this is reflective of the overall quality of the cooktop.

Disappointing quality

owner for 7 years. recently the front left burner has been acting up, it stays on, until its in the off position. the past six months the clock and blue background numbers on the control panel became very dim. i called samsung, they suggested turning off at the circuit breaker. i did, and now the blue background info (clock and temp setting etc…) is completely gone. looks like either i spend a few hundred for repair service or get a new stove. i googled and learned that an electric stove should last on average 13 years. looks like samsung builds them to last half the normal life span. i guess my next purchase will not be a samsung.

Bought a kitchen full of Samsung appliances about 6 years ago... nothing but disappointment.
This was the best performer unfortunately.
Within 2 years I had the "hot surface" light stay on...and now one of the burner elements does not work.
Not recommend.
