Only last 2.5 years with minimal use. Total junk with electrical issues that is not repairable. Shopping now and will get a GE! Just glad it didn't catch on fire and burn my house down
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought in or about 2016, now 2023 Broiler will not work anymore, Fans make loud noises when heating the oven, and the left front indicator light stays on for days after you use it even though it is not longer hot. i have never had an oven go out like this in my 50 years of life.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this 4 years ago and suddenly out of no where the glass top cracked !! Also the knob doesn’t work properly either !!
Response from Samsung USBy ChrystelSEA CareSeptember 21, 2023
We can't even begin to imagine how it feels going all through this with your range. Let's get this taken care of right away, Rid3.

If the surface is cracked, please switch off and unplug the appliance to avoid the possibility of electrical shock. Do not use your cooktop until the glass surface has been replaced.

I have also shared the manual to learn more about "Using the proper cookware" and "Protecting the cooktop surface." This is to prevent further cracks or any damage on the stovetop surface. Kindly go to pages 37-38 for reference.

User manual:

We would love to speak to you directly to gather more details and have it inspected on our end.

Fire hazard!! ⚠️ don’t buy!

We moved in this house 8 months ago (April) and they have this very stove. We were having my 16 yr old son birthday party and sat the plastic cake top cover on the stove while he blew out candles of cake on the island counter. My 14 yr old nephew reached into cabinet to right of the stove to get plates and then next thing I know there’s smoke and chemical smell rolling from the stove top in a matter of seconds! He barely bumped the knob on stove and it turned the burner on. I thought nothing of it until it has happened over and over again many times over the last 8 months. I have to check the burner before I leave house cause I worry OMG has any one bumped the knobs. I’ve wiped counter and stove just cleaning and my shirt will touch the knob and turn button on. The child lock does no good at all. It only locks the oven but it does nothing for the knobs. Even in child lock mode on (that takes 5-6 seconds if that works to lock but says 3 seconds 🤨) the burner knobs still work and turn the burners on!!! How is that child lock??? This is the worst stove! I hate it! If we buy this house that stove will be the first to go!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not repairable, making it effectively disposable
on February 20, 2024

This range lasted 5 years, then the main circuit board malfunctioned and the company no longer manufactures the part, so I have to buy a new range. 5 years isn't nothing, but it's also not a product lifespan that Samsung should be proud of. "This product will break after 5 years and you will not be able to source the parts required to repair it" is probably not an ideal approach to selling appliances. I'd expect that from a cheap brand, so I guess if that's how they want to be seen, they're nailing it. But this range was not cheap.
