Excellent range!

I've had it for about a week and have been cooking almost non-stop. I never used a convection oven before and so far this one hits a home run every time. I thought the control panel would be difficult to learn after using a range made in 1981 for a number of years but it's easy to follow. The only downside? It looks so awesome I think I really need to remodel my kitchen!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love most things about our new stove. when using the timer for the first time I found the noise it makes when done is completely useless. I have to be standing right next to the stove to hear it. I called support and was told it is not possible to adjust the volume on the timer to an audible level, the options are only to turn it on or off.
The other more important features of this stove work perfectly and I am otherwise extremely happy with this purchase.

Love this stove!

This is the stove we chose to put into our remodeled kitchen. I love it. It looks very sleek and updated. It works flawlessly. I like the feature that allows one to lock it so that nothing can be accidentally turned on. The only thing I would change is to have the alert chime and timer louder. If I'm not in the kitchen, I don't hear it.

We purchased in Nov, 2018 and have used for a few months now. We do like this stove. Great features and works well.
The only complaint we have is the knobs are in front, and it is easy to lean over the range to do something, and bump a knob and turn on a burner without realizing it. This happened when I was installing an range hood.

Great Product with Serious Flaw

Overall a great design, however, there are two situations that cause a cooling fan to run continuously:
- when the oven is ON, from preheat through oven cooled after use
- when using a burner for an extended period of time, such as simmering for 20+ minutes
- when using a burner for an extended period of time, such as simmering for 20+ minutes
I have never had to think about noise when ordering a new stove, but this is an annoyance that we can't overlook.
Returning product unless fixed.
Cons: fan noise
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a good looking slide in. But the top is very touchy! To clean it you need a product like Weiman cooktop daily cleaner plus a microfiber cloth. A paper towel takes twice or better longer to get the desired results. The first week I wiped with a cloth before I should have and have left a lasting (forever) blemish. I hadn't even burned any food on it! It takes longer to bring water to a boil (using #5) than my 35 year old electric range. That's not a plus!
The oven is super sized and baked goods come out ok. The convected roast setting is super.
The controls are easy to use. The timer is so soft you need to be standing next to it to hear it. I called the service people and was told that it is what it is!
I purchased it for the size limitations I have and I needed a new range.
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

In general it's good product, but I think this model has a BIG FLAW (it has been recorded on several Best Buy reviews as well) and it seems like the cooling fan on the front runs at all times (and I'm not talking about the convection oven fans) even from the moment the oven start preheating. Even when using the burning elements and not the oven, after 15 or so minutes or so, the cooling fan kicks on (this really doesn't make sense)
As always, getting Samsung warranty service it's been kind of a hassle (several emails, an online request order and one phone call)
Cons: front fan always on
I would recommend this to a friend!
