Should last longer than 8 years

It appears there is a major defect on Model # FGHF2369MFO. I’ve had this refrigerator for 8 years. A defect in the ice maker causes a rust hole in the back of the unit which seems irreplaceable from all the reviews I have read. At the very least this unit should be prorated for the customer to purchase a new one. From what I have read they are only offering 20% off and this is not near enough. It should be 50% off because this unit only lasted half its life. How Frigidaire responds to this review will determine if I ever purchase another appliance from this company. not so great

My biggest problem is that the water in the door is "not chilled", just room . Why have a water dispenser in the door when I can get the same from my faucet! Also the fan never stops running, noisy too.

Not good!

I've had a fridge and a microwave for not even a year yet and already had to replace the microwave and the fridge appliance company came out 3x for the ice maker. I wouldn't by another frigidaire. They look nice but quality just isn't there.

Nice look

We bought this frigidaire few month ago, shortly it got delivered, we noticed water puddle under the fridge. We couldn't figure out where it came from, call frigidaire service to have someone check it out. Turned out, the frigidaire assembly production forgot to put a hose to drain water down on the tray, so basically the water poured straight down onto our wooded floor. It damaged our wooded floor area. They finally fixed it and now we are experiencing water/ice dispenser, water dripping down. So now I have to call service to be out again and check it out. So much problems and we only have it for 3 months or so, with the price we paid for, you would think it's the best product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor icemaker

Bought a few weeks who, icemaker has yet to make a full bin. I followed all troubleshooting suggestions. Have to keep ice trays in freezer to supplement.

Pretty to look at, but not without issue

After owning it for about 10 months, my ice maker stopped working. Warranty covered repairs, and then about a week later, it stopped working again. The repairs were made again. Now the ice maker only gives crushed ice, regardless of which option I choose. So I am just wondering when it's going to stop working again. My guess is AFTER my warranty is up, which is next month. The repair guy said that the ice maker issue is the majority of his repairs. Why not issue a recall then, Frigidaire? Also, if you need lots of room, do not get counter depth. They are sooo small, I have to keep a second fridge in the garage to hold all of our food.

Not enough ice/ freezer handle falls off

Have had frig for 8 months - does not make enough ice and the freezer handle falls off (now have several scratches on freezer door) -makes bizarre noises at times- almost sounding possessed- although it looks nice would not recommend this product at all
