Good design, but that ice maker :-( !

We have had the Fridge @ 4years. Keeps things cool, etc.. But the ice maker just gets slower and slower. I replace water filter whenever the reminder comes up and we aren't heavy user of fridge. See many other comments on icemaker. Wish manufacturer had an upfront solution.

Too much for quality

I bought about 3 years ago but since then I've had problems with it. At first the ice would melt so I had to keep a towel underneath the water dispenser, I had someone come and look at it and they there was nothing wrong. After 2 years the ice maker no longer makes ice, I thought maybe it was because the water filter, today I had someone come and look at it and they said I need a new icemaker. With this price and "gallery" edition, this is crazy! Never buying frigidaire again!

We aquired our Fridge with our new RV & it's one of the reasons we bought the motorhome. It has all the features & space we wanted & works fabulously.

Tiniest low-capacity ice maker ever!

The only problem with this fridge is the ice maker...its capacity and rate of production are such that it should barely qualify as an ice maker. Take a look at the tray...about 10 tiny square cocktail cubes per cycle, which is about every two hours regardless of level in bin. We've been checked out by repair...no pressure issues, it's the design. Two adults and average amount of company...we're always buying ice.

It runs all the time

I have never had a refrigerator run all the time. I am not saying the compressor is running but some sort of variable speed fans. I would be surprised if my electricity bill doesn't go up.???

We've had this fridge for just a couple of months. Like it very much so far esp. ice and water on door. Because it is counter depth, fridge compartment can be a little short on space, but there are only 2 of us. Only time will tell if this was a worthwhile purchase, as our last fridge lasted less than 8 years.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice for the price, freezer handle loose

This refrigerator has been a nice addition for the price. The water does not flow as fast from the dispenser as other brands, and the ice cubes are mini, but that doesn't bother me.
What does bother me is the loose freezer handle. I've had this refrigerator for two months, and the freezer handle started to feel unstable at about a months use. I've attempted to tighten the handle on multiple occasions but it still loosens pretty quickly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Counter-depth fridge: kitchen looks MUCH bigger!

When I bought this refrigerator I had no idea what a huge visual difference it would immediately create in my kitchen. Recently we doubled the size of our kitchen island to give us more space for food preparation and to enable dinner guests to keep us company seated across from us while we cooked. Even so, the kitchen was still spacious but something was not quite right. We decided to move our working 11-year-old side-by-side fridge to the basement and purchase a new counter-depth French Door model to complete our kitchen update. The visual effect was dramatic! I had no idea how much those extra few inches the old fridge protruded beyond the cabinetry had disturbed the custom and sleek look of that end of the kitchen. Now, even with our much larger island, the scale and proportion of that area Is aligned correctly. Our kitchen update is now seamless and eye-pleasing! What a great idea! And the shallower depth of the interior makes organizing our refrigerated items easier. I am only 5 feet tall and seeing items at the back of our old fridge was difficult. When I open my new Frigidaire the LED lights come on like in a theater and I am able to see -- and reach! -- everything on the shelves.
