The cd offers 17 tracks of pure listening pleasure. It is a wonderful mix of the old and the new. It gives you something familiar---Talking Heads/REM/The Black Crowes and maybe something a little less familiar-----Wilco/Tristan Prettyman. I have to spotlight Erin McCarley who does a great job with "Love, Save the Empty". Another pleasant surprise is Scarlett Johansson who, by the way, can really sing! I have listened to it while working at home and have found it quite enjoyable. It makes me want to see the movie!
What's great about it: This Cd gives you variety, but not variety for variety sake. Variety you can listen to again and again.
What's not so great: There really aren't any. Surprise! Surprise!

"he's just not that into you" is a great, great, great soundtrack. It is a fabulous mix of new songs and old favorites. The soundtrack takes you through every emotion you have when dealing with relationships. It was as if an understanding friend made you a mix tape. I am very pleased with this soundtrack. There is nothing to disappoint. Make you you listen to Scarlett singing "Last Goodbye".

It is OK. I don't love it, and I don't hate it. It has some stuff from the 80s, 90s an today, but most of the songs are kind of boing. I found that I actually onlyliked like 3 songs on the entir disc. I saw the movie and the movie is WAY better than the CD.

When you take a look at the track listing for He’s Just Not That Into You Soundtrack, you’ll immediately recognize at least a handful of songs. This soundtrack plays like a mid-90s mixed tape, with a few more recent exceptions. Most notably, Scarlette Johansson sings “Last Goodbye.” It’s an enhanced CD that includes video of her singing the song in a night club. The clip was apparently cut from the film. Other than the video, the “enhanced” part of the CD falls flat. There are a few links and nothing else of interest.
You’ll likely recognize and maybe enjoy the tracks by Talking Heads, R.E.M., The Black Crowes, and The Cure. Not surprisingly, “Friday I’m in Love” made it onto this soundtrack. I didn’t skip over any songs, like I usually find myself doing with soundtracks—heading straight for my favorites—but I can’t say that I’d listen to this one more than a handful of times.
Tristan Prettyman’s “Madly,” is a melodic, getting-over-it type of song that brings up mental images of driving away from someone. Scarlette Johansson has a surprisingly lovely voice. “Last Goodbye,” is reminiscent of lounge jazz. It’s entrancing and a great listen.
If you haven’t heard most of the songs on this soundtrack already, it’s worth buying. For most people though, it’s not going to knock your socks off or anything. It’s a pretty typical, romantic comedy soundtrack.
What's great about it: Good mix of genres, consistent mood
What's not so great: a lot of well-known, older songs, nothing spectacular

"He's Just Not that Into You" is a fun Soundtrack with music by well known artists such as R.E.M., Maroon 5, and Lily Allen, as well as new artists with some great songs. I found myself dancing along to the music, which I found great as background music in the car, making dinner, cleaning the house, or whatever. I have not yet seen the movie, but I am hoping it is as good as the music I have been listening to.
What's great about it: Variety of music from different decades

For me to listen to something other than Hip Hop or R&B is an adventure. As my husband says I’m a music snob, if it’s not Hip Hop/R&B or Reggae, I won’t listen to it. Well I decided to prove him wrong! I took a leap forward and found the “He’s Just Not That Into You” Original Motion Picture Soundtrack and popped it into my cd player.
The CD has some pretty catchy tunes on it, mostly from artists I personally have never heard of before like Corinne Bailey Rae, Tristan Prettyman, My Morning Jacket but there’s also a few that I have heard of like R.E.M., Maroon 5, and Lilly Allen.
There are a few songs I could skip over, but overall I kept the CD in while I cleaned up and was able to tolerate it pretty well. My girls however seemed to be big fans of the CD, so that’s always a plus, to find family friendly music that we can all listen to.
What's great about it: Catchy Songs
What's not so great: Some songs are too slow to keep my attention

I would recommend this CD for any age. I had the music on when my daughter came home and she enjoyed it just as much as I did. Really like the r.e.m., morrison and maroon 5 songs!
