I had the opportunity from One2One Network to receive this Soundtrack CD early and was asked in turn to post some reviews. Definitely worth my time. This is a pretty decent CD. I like the different mix of artists. I am typically a classic rock fan myself, however there is music on this cd that I enjoyed. My best description is there are different songs for my different moods.
What's great about it: Nice Mix of Music and artists

The soundtrack is a nice mix of old and new music. Every one of them would be at home at a fab bar where friends are hanging out - sort of a soundtrack to the 20- to 30-something lifestyle. I’m way above that age range, but I still loved it. Because of the subject of the movie, many of them are about love, loss, and everything that goes with it. But none are maudlin. The closest the CD comes to being schmaltzy is the track by Scarlett Johansson, who has a surprisingly great singing voice, but it’s not my favorite song.
For a CD with a mix of styles that still feels cohesive in its entirety, I heartily recommend this a must listen.
What's great about it: Great mix of current and past music.
What's not so great: Not a fan of Scarlett Johansson's song

This is my new favorite craft-a-long CD. With songs by Corinne Bailey Rae, Maroon 5, R.E.M., and The Replacements, it already looks a lot like my ultimate favorite playlist on my iPod. Throw in a couple of my favorite older songs, The Human League's "Don't You Want Me" and The Cure's "Friday I'm in Love", and you've got a seriously good mix of music. The last track, "Last Goodbye" is sung by Scarlett Johansson. It was a pleasant surprise and a good finish to a fun soundtrack.
New discovery: "Somewhere Only We Know" by Keane. I don't know if I've heard this song before but I absolutely love it.
Caleb's favorite: "Love, Save the Empty" by Erin McCarley
Eva's favorite: "Fruit Machine" by The Ting Tings
If how much I love the soundtrack = how much I'll love the movie, I'll probably fork over the money to see it in the theaters. That, and I have a major girl crush on Drew Barrymore.

Overall, I enjoyed this CD very much, it makes great bopping around the house music. I was blown away by all the great female singers and enjoyed most of the old classics. The weak points were a few overplayed songs and a couple of songs I didn't care for at all (Last Goodbye, If I Never See Your Face Again)
What's great about it: features amazing female singer songwriters

I was so happy when I heard this soundtrack! I'm usually a bit skeptical of movie soundtracks but this one proved me wrong. It has such easy to listen to songs! I'm not a huge fan of Don't You Want Me...probably because it's on the cookie commercial so it's a bit over-played, but easy enough to forward through. I would totally recommend this CD, and now I can't wait to see the movie!
What's great about it: Great songs, happy beat, easy to listen to
What's not so great: Don't You Want Me by Human League

The "He's Just Not that Into You" Soundtrack has a really good flow to it. I expected to find myself skipping through songs like I normally find when I purchase or listen to a full cd. With this cd, I did not find any of the songs that I felt the need to skip through. The entire cd has a very mellow feel to it, so it is a good fit for both cleaning music, and even while you are doing other chores. I found it very pleasant to listen to while driving, and it kept me from feeling road rage :). I have actually listened to the cd many times since purchasing, and will be transferring it to my iPod as a playlist. I think that my favorite aspect of this cd is that it has a good mix of older songs, combined with new fresh songs, yet all of them are pleasurable to listen to. If the soundtrack is this good, I definitely look forward to what the movie provides!
What's great about it: Feel good music that makes you want to dance
