Sure, you can't use RB gear or play GHWT Downloads. Though when you play the actual game, you'll be blown away. The setlist, Expert Plus (yes, it works on Wii), difficulty, & Career Mode are enough to win you over. It's well worth the purchase.
What's great about it: Great Setlist, Improved Graphics, Great Metallica Motion Caputre, Improved Band Interface, Imporved Music Studio
What's not so great: Can Only Connect to 2 Wiis Online, No GHWT DLC Access, Wii RB Gear Doesn't Work, No James Hetfield ESP in Music Studio
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a great idea to get kids in to a hobby! It is much better than playing the regular guitar. This is the best idea since bubblegum!
What's great about it: Guitar has come out w/ many of them not just METALLICA but all of them!
What's not so great: It is hard to keep track w/ all of the guitar heroes
I would recommend this to a friend!

The great and not-so-great says it all really... everything about the game was well done. You start out as Metallica, set up your "cover band", and continue to play Metallica's best hits and much more from other great bands, many of whom Metallica has covered. You don't really have to 'unlock' venues as in previous Guitar Hero's... just the more songs you play the more it gives you. Just got an advance copy of the game, played for three hours, and still had many more great songs to play. Do not try this game out to see if it's worth it, buy it! Don't think about it, just buy it! If you are a true Metallica fan, or if you just like the hits you will not be disappointed.
What's great about it: Set up well; more songs you play, the more you unlock, and a lot more!
What's not so great: Nothing. The best songs from Metallica and many more great ones...
I would recommend this to a friend!

Really if you like games, and you are fan of Metallica, you´re going to enjoy playing the songs that made this Band a real Legend.!!! Metallica forever!!!!

I love this game. Metallica fans and all other rock n roll fans will not miss with this game. Music selection is great.
What's great about it: Metallica et al music is fantastic, ability to play multiple modes, graphics of Metallica band members and concert venue
What's not so great: No Damage Inc.
