I brought this for me and my family so we can work out indoors during the winter months. This has meet are needs and more. The greatest feature about this is that my children can play it with a friend who doesnt have a profile and compete against each other. Looking forwards to the second edition and becoming more active with EA sports!

What's great about it: This product really target all of your body parts

What's not so great: N/A

Better than a paid personal trainer. Esy to use and a challenging work out with alot of variety. I was stiff and sore after each of the first three workouts

What's great about it: Easy to follow and excellent challenging work outs; better and cheaper than your own personal trainer

What's not so great: Doesn't work as well with two users

Like Wii Sports Active Game

The item is what it says and it works great and I would tell anyone to use it. The Wii product is top notch

What's great about it: It really does what it advertises

What's not so great: The workout strap streteched out of shape too quickly so I bought a new one

Good workout using Wii

This has given me (age over 55) a good workout with "trophies", a trainer, etc. I work up a sweat and sometimes talk back to the trainer when she says "let's get our heartrate up" and mine already is. My daughter (age 24) feels there should be a tougher (as in not as nice) trainer. I like the variety of types of workouts (waling, running, lunges, use of resistance bands, inline skating, dancing, boxing, tennis, etc.) and the ability to create custom workouts doing activities that I really like in addition to the standard workouts. When using the 30 day plan, there is good variety of exercising different muscle groups on different days. It's never a dull workout.

What's great about it: Having a trainer who encourages or scolds you while you work out

What's not so great: Occasionally the Wii doesn't seem to get the signals from the Nunchuk and remote

I would recommend this to a friend!

Awesome Program

This is an awesome program if you are new to fitness or even a seasoned fitness pro. The running program is very addictive. I have not worked out in many, many years and have not found an exercise program I liked until now. I can't wait to get home after work so I can run, walk and even punch targets. For someone who never really cared about exercising this is a huge accomplishment. I love the positive feedback the program gives you as you progress through the workouts and the calories burned projection and actual calories burned are very motivating. This is a great program for all fitness levels.

What's great about it: I love the various routines, no chance to get bored here

What's not so great: The leg strap is tough to keep on if you have large thighs

I would recommend this to a friend!

I like it!

So far, with the EA Sports Active for Wii, I am motivated to workout. What I like most is the variety... there are about 20 or so preset workouts that can be modified before doing them. Plus, a user can also create custom workouts. I have created workouts catered only to a specific sport to work on those skills, and I have also created some custom stress burners (punching bags!!).

Motivation is a big factor for me, and so far, I am motivated to do this workout because the game tracks progress and gives progress awards (trophies) along the way. The "personal trainer" gives motivation along the way, but even that feature can be shut off if you grow tired of it.

If I could change ONE thing, it would be the ability to create more than five profiles. I have six people in my family. But other than that, it's a great find!

What's great about it: Variety, Motivation

Overall like it, targets areas I don't work at the gym.

What's great about it: easy to set up, personalized for each family member, good workout when it's good outside

What's not so great: sometimes picky about form, seems to help if go slower, make sure remotes are pointed the right way

Amazing!

I have had this for about 30days now, I havent had any problems with the strech band breaking or anything, i love waking up to work out with this. It is amazing! It does also work you out more than the wii fit because you dont have any games it is just working out. I break a sweat faster on this than the wii fit. Also, for anyone who is a bit thicker the band that goes around your thight has an extender so you can make it tighter if your really small or you can make it bigger.

What's great about it: Easy to set up, Variety of work outs, good price

What's not so great: nothing so far

I would recommend this to a friend!
