I highly recommend this game. Not only can you have fun with friends and family on a split screen but you get an awesome workout. I have done many other workouts for 45 minutes to an hour and very little sweat. This game had me sweating as if though I had just done a marathon and I only worked out for 27 minutes. I love the fact that you can track your calories burned and journal all of your workouts. I started the 30 day challenge last night on medium intensity. I felt every muscle in my body at work. I will be going today to cancel my gym membership. As a stay at home mom it is very hard to wait until my son falls asleep and then drive to gym just to do cardio. By the time I get there the personal training is not available. With this video your Personal trainer is there for you at any time. I have already called family and friends this morning to let them know about this game.
What's great about it: You get an awesome workout in the privacy of your own home
What's not so great: Nothing so Far
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have every single fitness game that came out for the wii except Jillian Michaels fitness ultimatum because the reviews were so bad for that game. This game is the best I’ve played by far, It totally beats out the wii fit 100% I actually sweat like I’m at the gym and it picks up every hit that you make precisely I cant describe it its amazing the only bad thing is the leg strap kept slipping off during running but I think if you tighten it real good you should be able to fix this, other then that it has so many great features you will be sure to be entertained everyday playing this. It makes everything a challenge and you can have different levels of workouts so if you want it easy or hard its up to you, . Definitely worth the money so go and buy one you wont regret it.
What's great about it: It feels Like im getting a real workout from a trainer!
What's not so great: The Leg Strap falls off during running
I would recommend this to a friend!

bought this as a gift for myself and absolutely love it. It seems like youre not working out until the sweat start burning your eyes. i just love it, who needs ballys when you have a wii. its worth the 60 bucks

I bought the Active Personal Trainer today and used it today. The setup was very easy and I chose the pre-programmed 30 day schedule. I started off on "easy" and by the end of the workout I was sweating pretty good.
I loved the kick/boxing training so much I went ahead and setup my own workout routine with just those excercises. By the end of that routine I was wiped out.
The best part was the quick transition between exercises and not having to think about what you want to do next.
My only dissapointment was that I thought the resistance band didn't give a whole lot of resistance. I guess it will be easier to feel the burn quicker once I increase the level from "easy" to "medium" then to "hard."
I did not have any problems with the leg band but if it's not on tight it would slip off with all the movement (common sense). Also, it doesn't give your BMI or weight like the Fit but then my Fit never got it correct anyways. However, it does keep track of your time exercising and calories burned and keeps it in a journal.
If you have the Fit let the kids have it and get the Active for yourself!
What's great about it: It is very different from the Fit. Fast transition between exercises is awesome!
What's not so great: None
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this game for my wife's and she just loves it. She also has the Wii Fit and out of the two she likes this one for the actual workout feeling she gets at the end of a session. Plus this game allows her to use the Wii Fit balance board in some of your workouts... one more thing to add to the versatility what you can do with this game. All in all I think that if you want to get a great workout without ever leaving the comforts of there home, this is the game for you! Hope this help all that are up in the air on whither or not to buy it.
What's great about it: Does all that my wife wants and more
What's not so great: Wish it offered tougher resistance bands instead of just the one in the box.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just got this. Have been waiting for it for more than a month.
Have not really used it all, not familiar yet with all it is about, but, using it today for the irst time, I was not too impressed with the sync regarding the nunchuck. Sometimes it would not recognize my movements and sometimes it would do diffeent things. If I was up the person on the TV was down...I was very confused and tried hard tomake it work fine. We will see next time I use it... Hopefully I won't be dissapointed
What's great about it: It seems like there is a variety of exercises
What's not so great: The Nunchuck being in the strap holder does not seem to work that well/
I would recommend this to a friend!

EA Active is a great game/work out for the Wii. It has way more features than the previous workout game Wii Fit. The workouts are fun and in most cases are simulated versions of sports. I recommend this game over Wii Fit.
What's great about it: 2 Players can excersise at the same time and has way more to do than Wii Fit
What's not so great: Nothing yet
I would recommend this to a friend!
