GREAT TV

I bought my 40" Samsung at the Torrance Best Buy. Got the TV home, opened up the box put the TV on the stand and used the 4 supplied screws to screw it in...I connected my surround sound. Hooked it up to my Verizon Fios standard Definition box..and WOW..that's it. No problem...done...amazing picture for a non HD picture. So I then hooked up my HD box from my other room just to see what it looks like. I was blown away. For the $800 bucks I paid for the TV..you cant beat it. I think Samsung has a great product and will buy another Samsung. I don't know what other people see when they write bad reviews on this TV...maybe it's there cable or satellite service. You cant go wrong with Verizon Fios. I would recommend this TV to anyone..trust me..i was a little uncertain at first because I have never bought Samsung. I have only owned Sony or Vizo LCD's. I have found a new TV source. SAMSUNG...finally a company gets it right.
What's great about it: Right out of the box onto the stand...so easy
What's not so great: Nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this TV for my fiancé and he absolutely loves it. I loved the price and the picture and quality of this TV is awesome. I did my research and if you are having troubles decided between a LCD and a plasma go with the LCD it doesn’t leave the black spots like a plasma would and you can enjoy playing video games on a LCD without worrying about pausing the game and returning to a still picture that stays on the screen for a few days. Overall it’s a great TV I would recommend it to anyone.
What's great about it: Excellent Price and easy to set up
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this TV it is awesome. I mean the pricing is affordable and not too expensive. The picture is great, the sound is clear, and it looks sleek. It isn't too big and looks outstanding in any household.

The problem I have with the sound, is that I always have to turn on thevolume real high, because you can't hear it that well and when the commercials come on it's too high, I don't know if it's the TV or my DVR.
But love this TV!!! great price easy to set up have not had one problem yet so far, would highly recommend it!!!!
What's great about it: Using HD it has a great picture!!!! easy to set up
What's not so great: the sound is not great !
I would recommend this to a friend!

Picked this up on sale for $799 with service plan. Crisp quality, bright screen, and very nice looking. Can wait to have a game night with this and my 1080p "110 projection screen. Highly recommend to all medium budgeted Television buyers

Easy set up, great directions. Was on sale and had great financing.
Doesn't weigh much, which helped in the moving and set up. Sleek and attractive. Will look good in any location. If you register your product on line with Samsung, they extend your warrany by 3 months.
I shopped around and this TV had a higher ratio and was a better price, so don't bother going to another store, get it at Best Buy.
The sales associate at the Schaumburg Store, Christine was so nice and very helpful!
What's great about it: Easy set up, great price and financing!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works with Direct TV Remote!

We went into Best Buy looking for a good TV at an affordable price that would work with our DTV. The manager suggested we get a Universal Remote, that way it would not matter if this set was compatible. But it was and we can return the unneed remote.
I can not believe how easy it was to set up this TV. It is on a high cabinet, yet we were very comfortable lifting it after the base was attached. Another few minutes and all the assorted cables were connected and we began enjoying our new TV!
What's great about it: Easy to set up and Easy to program Direct TV Remote
What's not so great: Nothing that I have found so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!
