WOW! I love this cd! When I first saw the Yanni Voices special on PBS, I was blown away! Besides his music, he has 4 singers in his group now-hence the name Voices in the title. It adds so much to his music. These singers are some of the best I have ever heard, especially Chloe. If any of them competed in American Idol, they would blow away the competition and win hands down! Ender is one of two men singing on the cd. He has a passionate & beautifully exotic voice, and extremely good looking! Chloe is one of two women singing on the cd. She sounds just like the singer who sings on the little mermaid song, & has a very powerful voice. Leslie has a mellower & lighter sound, while Nathan is a classically trained tenor, and his voice really adds to the music! Four different voices that go well with each other! My favorite song is Mi Todo EresTu-Until the last Moment. Ender & Chloe sing this together, and it is so beautiful! Along with the cd is a dvd. It is the only part I was disappointed with. It has some singing on it along with a lot of talking. I was hoping for the PBS special on the DVD!
What's great about it: The singers
What's not so great: PBS special is not on DVD

I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised by this reinvention of Yanni's music. This is not the music you may remember from back in the day. He collaborates with a group of very talented singers to produce music just about anyone can enjoy.
I personally love finding new music to listen to. If you are a true lover of music and looking to grow and expand your library, pick up this CD/DVD. You will not be disappointed.
What's great about it: CD and DVD, great price

Yanni Voicestakes you away from the chaos of our everyday life into a relaxing and invigorating journey. The energy of the music coupled with the amazing voices of Nathan Pacheco, Ender Thomas, Leslie Mills and Chloe really takes this fabulous music -- and you to a new place. The CD starts with great energy, ends on a soft note, and keeps you wanting more! It is a great way to make traffic bearable and my children really love it too! If you are not a Yanni fan, I still highly recommend this CD. It will surprise you!
What's great about it: A unique and fabulous sound!
What's not so great: N/A

I was surprisingly pleased by this CD. I am not necessarily a Yanni fan, but the CD was really nice. Great to have as background music throughout my day when I'm cooking or cleaning.
What's great about it: DVD and CD are included.
What's not so great: nothing

I received this album via One2One Network, and was quite surprised. I'm not a Yanni fan, by any stretch, but I found myself quite relaxed listening to this album. The only issue with the vocals is, at times, they seem unfluctuating, and somewhat boring, which might be why it is relaxing.
What's great about it: calm, relaxing music
What's not so great: monotonous music and vocals at times
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I think this CD is wonderful to listen to as background music. The songs have great rythm. I mainly listen to it while surfing the web.
What's great about it: great variety of music
What's not so great: I'm not crazy about some of the songs that were in other languages

Yanni Voices is A Must Hear!

Though I am not a huge Yanni fan I thought I would give his music a chance and when I had the chance to review the CD I took it!
I've been exposed to Yanni's instrumental music in the past and I must be honest when I say that I personally did not care for it too much. I think I'm more of a lyrics girl as opposed to just the music, but this CD delivered on all fronts and was a great surprise to me! Yanni's beautiful music was the perfect backdrop to the amazing voices of all four of the featured vocalists, but II enjoyed Ender Thomas and Leslie Mills the most! I think the idea of putting these amazing voices with such an amazing musician was spot on!
i would recommend this CD to everyone no matter what their musical tastes were!
What's great about it: I love that it comes with a CD and DVD!
I would recommend this to a friend!
