This is a great movie for old guys everywhere. Set in Detroit, Korean War Vet Walt Kowalski has watched his neighborhood deteriorate and hasn't much use for the Blacks and Asians that have moved in (he's a serious bigot). Eventually he learns that most of these people are not as worthless as he thinks and comes up with a unique solution for dealing with the ones who are.
What's great about it: Unusual plot belivable and well executed.
What's not so great: He's not very likable especially at the beginning.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Clint Eastwood movie

Clint Eastwood may be getting over the hill, but he still knows how to make a great movie. The plot is a great one for anyone who has lived in any area like that and understands just how much it truly is like that. He also draws you into the characters well enough that you can get emotionally attached.
What's great about it: Great story, good actors, clint eastwood
What's not so great: Too short, could work on Hmong side of story more
I would recommend this to a friend!

I can not believe that this did not come up for any awards. I saw it in the theater and knew I wanted to own it. Has A good plot.. It stays interesting to the end.
