I love the quality, features and performance of this device. Having said that, it falls short in a couple areas. One problem is that many apps from the Google Play store show as not compatible with this device even though most can be added by side loading them and still work just fine. I can live with that but it would be nice if I didn't have to side load them. For anyone wondering, XBMC Gotham works great on this device, and that is one of the primary apps I wanted to use this for.
The other issue is that administrator access of this device is tied to the Samsung account used on initial setup. If you forget that password or get one second hand, you can forget resetting that account without the password. You can reload firmware through Kies, but currently there is no way to reinitialize the device with Kies or the HomeSync app without the original password. Can't Samsung add an option in Kies to wipe and initialize the device? Seems like a reasonable request to me.

I just bought a new HomeSyn as i want to reduce my storage from Dropbox, OneDrive, and GDrive. Interestingly, the current version of that above 3 cloud services do not support my Android 4.2.2 version of my HomeSync, as i browse through Play Store in my HomeSync. This is a pain in the butt, as i have to go through other methods such as 3rd Party Could App to access my cloud storages from HomeSync, or direct file transfer from above cloud folders in my Macbook then transfer to HomeSync by cable. And you cant event create different Folders in your Private Folder except default Video and Image Folders created by HomeSync app !!! This really make you mess up with all the different content of your video from work, home, entertainment ..etc

Cons: latest update to only 4.2.2, low level of folder customization

I enjoyed the Homesync, the only thing that made me sad was after Homesync last update, my keyboard with mouse pad ubs wirelles have stopped working, likely incompatibility did not exit before.
It would also be great if fucnionasse with dts hd audio passthrough via hdmi or hd audi.

Where's Netflix, Hulu, and Cracle apps? This thing mostly sit around and looked pretty. Finally tore it apart, saved the hard drive and threw the rest away.
