First the GPS part is great with all the usual features accessible in a user friendly format - whether you need gas or an emergency donut shop . The fact that it doubles as a digital photo frame us a cool feature. The live free traffic reporting is very helpful and the eco reports rating your acceleration - deacceleration and gas costs per trip are kind of a trip. I like it.
What's great about it: Traffic component, Digital Photo Frame, Cost per Trip

I had a garmin street pilot 330. I loved it. I always thought a few things could be changed. I only got it for the traffic updates, little did i know this would be the best money spent in a long time. I always thought it would be nice if i didnt have to type the whole city every time. This one stores your history. It says the street names, which is nice, bigger display, never loses signal and on and on. This thing is the best, deff buy one. Worth every penny.
What's great about it: Easy to use.finds everything.Every annoying thing the street pliot did this dosent, its great
What's not so great: i didnt get it eariler

I've used this for 2 months now in the Riverside-Orange County-Los Angeles-Long Beach areas. It took me a few days to get familiarized to its features; this has been stated clearly in the manual. Just click "Where To", pick your place and click "GO". I normally click the green button on the top left corner then click "Show Traffic". Love it. Listen to this: "Traffic Severe - Recalcualting", then it redirects you to local streets. The alerts are correct most of the times, like 50-70%. I would say that was good enough for 130 bucks I paid (not to mention I used 65 reward dollars and actually paid 65 bucks out of pocket. Found a few glitches: the map is not "THAT" up to date. I downloaded my one time updated map, it did not show the new entrance (on the right) from Magnolia-Corona to I-15 North, keep on telling me to turn left. But that is not a big thing. What surprised me was when I drove from Long Beach taking I-105 East toward I-605 South, this map did not see that exit which had been there for over a decade. Anyhow, I'm more than happy with this new toy.
What's great about it: Two thumbs up - Traffic feature is great - Good screen - Easy to use
What's not so great: A few glitches - Not a big deal

Again this is the second Garmin GPS I have purchased in four years. Itsi easy to set up. The features are easy to minipulate through and the unit is very understandable while driving. Again, the purchase through Best Buy On Line provided a very low price for a quality item. I would highly reccomend the Garmin GPS and would also suggest making your purchase through Best Buy! You will be happy both ways! I promise!
What's great about it: This is my second Garmin GPS. The price was great! This model is easy to use and operate!
What's not so great: Nothing so far!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Handy

For experience I used it to "guide" me to some known locations. Most of the time it was very accurate & took me exactly where it should. In some rural areas it was off by 3/4 mile or more, either stopping me short or taking me well past my destination, depending upon from which direction I approached. I would prefer more volume on the voice prompts.
What's great about it: Simple to use
What's not so great: Addresses are way off in some areas

This is my first gps ever and I got my garmin during the black friday sale so I'm pretty happy about how much i paid for it. I haven't used it much but it has yet to lead me astray (as in i didnt come to an edge of a cliff, which is ome of the few horror stories i heard about a gps). Im sure a lot of people would like to know the negative aspects of it so here it is.
1. The exit i use to go to work doesnt even show up on the gps. I'm on the freeway and suddenly the gps says i'm off the freeway. the gps map indicates that there is no exit. However, i did not mind that too much because I heard that the entrance to the freeway at that street was closed years ago. I guess it was assumed that the exit ended up closing as well.
2. It gave the wrong street name, but so far it only happened once. The street was called one name but the gps gave a completely different name. Luckily I kind of knew the area so I didnt panic (getting lost is one of my biggest fears, which is why i got a gps in the first place).
3. This is the one big problem i had with this product. When I need to merge from one freeway to the next, it has a tendency to NOT mention if I should be North/South or East/West. For example, I'm on the 405 and I need to go on the 710. It will tell me to move to the right side of the freeway so that I can get on the 710, but the speaker on the gps doesnt tell me if I should go on the 710N lane or the 710S lane. It also doesnt show up on the gps itself. In fact, it wont mention which one i should take until at least 5 seconds before the 710 lanes split up into 710N and 710S (dont take my word on the 5 sec timing. its just a guess but it really doesnt give you a lot of time). What if you were on the wrong lane? I cant switch lanes that quickly if I'm going 70 and I'm checking for cars that might be in my blind spot and also worrying that i'm going to crash into the divider because I wasnt quick enough.
Anyways other then that, i do like having a gps. However, I always do make sure that I look for directions on the internet before i head somewhere new. My gps is more of a comfort if i do get lost. In that situation, i would trust the gps more then my own instincts. Hope the review helped!

I like this product so much ..It was so easy to set up ...Its so easy to find the place when you arrived.I drove to Canada with this GPS and working perfectly on the street ..The Gps can repeat many times so you wont get lost.I would like to share this gps to my friends ..Garmin Gps is the best choice ..
