Four purchased to upgrade our old Nuvis and Street Pilot. Product is good however it fell short of our expectations regarding the adequacy of the map. Our cost benefit analysis of the map upgrades versus new units drove us to purchase new units. Garmin on line map updates (for a significant fee) have fallen short over the years. We had hoped that these units would have adequate maps already loaded. Garmin maps fell short of the mark on these new units.
What's great about it: Traffic feature, speed limit display
What's not so great: When following route it does not tell you which road you are on, maps are not updated adequately
I would recommend this to a friend!

Product is very easy to understand, program and follow. Like most GPS it doesn't always take the best route in my opinion, but I think that's more the map system than the GPS. Our daughter had 1 and we bought 2 more for the others because of the features that one had for the value.
What's great about it: easy to set up and understand

I have purchased 40 of these units. You can turn it on and use all the basic functions right away. Traffic alerts are great. For the price you can't beat it. I will be purchasing more very soon!!! Map zooming in and out when you are reaching your destination is very easy to view.
What's great about it: Very easy to use
What's not so great: Lots of options, Takes a bit to remember where they are in the programming

I bought this unit based on research of various Garmin units and holiday pricing from Best Buy. This unit is used primarily for business travel across the country so it's important during setup to get the lastest free download from Garmin. Allow a couple of hours to complete the registration, free download, calibrating the unit and reading instructions. After this prep, the use of the unit is very easy and touchpad driven. My first day's drive was over 300 miles using the unit and it worked like a champ over country roads. The touch points for destinations worked great and programming in repeat locations is easy and convenient. I haven't been in traffic situations to see how the Traffic Update functions work. This is a nice unit for the price purchased. It would have been nice if Garmin included a protective case for the GPS unit, not as a separate purchase item.
What's great about it: Easy setup, good voice and map quality.
What's not so great: Haven't found anything yet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We gave this to our daughter moving to a large city. She says it has been a lifesaver for her. When there is a roadblock it redirects and gets you where you need to go. We will be purchasing another Garmin for our son as well as one for ourselves in the near future. Thanks for such a great and easy to use product!

This GPS is great, it gets me where I want to go, has traffic on it and lets me know how i'm driving. it's a great product
