I think the game is overall a fantastic game. It has the story, the playing, and everything else that reaches 5 star standards, but there are flaws. One of which is that one of the characters is played in the dark which can get very repetitive and boring. Also it gets hard to see, unless you have a LED tv or a brightly lit tv. Apart from that, I was kind of disappointed that there weren't really any elites! Just brutes. Another thing is the multiplayer disc just has a few more maps then the Halo 3 game. But again, overall this game is definitely worth the money.
What's great about it: The story is great! The playing is awesome!
What's not so great: Almost half the game is in the dark, so you might want to play at night or in a dark room. Plus there's no elites!

Halo 3: ODST is in my opinion the best Halo game out of the five. It features a new campaign in a different setting and it lets you play as an ODST instead of a Spartan. It features new weapons such as the Silenced SMG and the new Automatic MAG pistol. The game also brings back the Brute Plasma Riffle which is stronger than the Elite version. Only many people such as me were some what disapointed that the Battle Riffle was not in the game. Also it is set betweent the slip space jump from New Mombasa in Halo 2 to the begining of Halo 3, so there should be Elites in there right? Well that was the other thing I found bad about ODST...the only Elites it featured were dead ones. Other than that this was an awsome game!
What's great about it: The new campaign and hero
What's not so great: They took out the Battle Riffle and there is no Elites

I would highly recommend this game if you dont already have Halo 3 or any of the downloaded maps since it comes with it. Other than that the campaign is too short to merit paying a full $60 for.
What's great about it: If you're used to the Halo franchise, you can just jump in and play it.

I received ODST about a day after it came out. Disappointed in the purchase and not worth its full retail price. The campaign was alright, sub-par effort i would say on the games part. The ODST soldier was pretty cool, but died easily. Realistic? Yes. Annoying, yes as well considering every step you take, a bullet follows nearby killing you. Its just Halo 3's characteristics put into another game alike Halo. If you are a die-hard Halo follower and want to know the story behind it, I would say buy it when it goes down in price. Other buyers, do the same. Full Xbox360 game price is not worth this title
What's great about it: New Weapons, Gameplay and storyline
What's not so great: Storyline also a little confusing, multiplayer maps?

At first this game was awesome but once u pass it it goes downhill from there. do not buy waste of time unless u just want to continue to roam around the city. the storyline isnt even that great and doesnt make sense since its supposed to be in between halo 2 n halo 3. only fun thing is firefight but that also gets boring. so u should just buy call of duty and ull have a better time
What's great about it: friefight, mythic disk with the maps
What's not so great: gets boring real fast n nobody plays it anymore
