When I heard this was coming out i was thrilled so i preordered it, got it the first day it came out, put in my console, started the campaign and i got lost in the campiagn 5 MINUTES in. It is just this huge city and you play as like 5 different characters so u cant make a true bond between any character besides the guy who doesnt speak, the rookie. This wouldnt have bothered me cause firefight was good if this update was only 20 $ instead of 60. So, like a true halo fan, i cashed it in and got Modern Warfare 2 and it was awesome. So keep ur money and buy a better game cause this was a disgrace compared to the rest of the series
What's great about it: firefight
What's not so great: the campaign and the price
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just got this game 3 days ago for my birthday. I started playing it yesterday and finished today. So, as you can tell it's short.
As a 14 year old girl I must say, it was pretty fun while it lasted, but if you play for about 4 hours for 2 days you would finish the game. (depending on how skilled you are)
It's fun with the puzzles and zombies. The map is easy to read because it shows where your enemy is, the beacon, and gates. It also has a special mode where you can see your enemy's in red and your buddies in green outlining (it's like night-vision but a little different)
What's great about it: It has a good story line, and it comes with the Multiplayer Disk
What's not so great: It's very short, you fight the same aliens after each level
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pros:
-This game is pretty good. Bringing the ODST's into halo gives the player a different experience.
- They also bring firefight which is cool because it's like playing horde from gears of way 2, but better in my opinion.
- For fans of Recon Armor they have the three new vidmasters challenges
Vidmaster Challenge: Classic - complete any level on legendary without firing a weapon or throwing grenades
Vidmaster Challenge: Endure: On any mission pass the 4th set of firefight on 4 player heroic live coop
Vidmaster Challenge: Deja Vu - complete coastal highway on 4 player legendary live coop with no hog or scorpion and iron turned on.
Once you have all these hopefully you have all the ones on Halo 3.
Once you unlock recon armor you can go online and show it off.
Cons:
- Firefight gets boring fast because of its repetitiveness
- The campaign will eventually get old
- recon is beginning to get overrated
One good thing about the game that is not mentioned yet is that the second disk comes with the 3 new mythic maps: Heretic longshore and citadel + all the original maps from halo plus the DLC for all for free
What's great about it: New character, firefight, recon
What's not so great: repetitive
I would recommend this to a friend!

The game adds another dimension to the halo universe. Fire fight is a lot of fun in co-op and the game has a lot of elements that make it unique and keeps the main story moving with a sub plot that has nice twist. The game has several difficulties whether you’re a noob or a vet and with the challenge skulls keep it entertaining. Good luck and continue the fight.
What's great about it: Another great game from bungie
What's not so great: is a little short
I would recommend this to a friend!

Halo 3 ODST was a big let down for me the firefight was fun but after about 5 days it got boring the campaign didnt add to any story and it was dull and multiplayer was fun but if you already have all the map packs dont bother picking this up
What's great about it: The firefight mode and muliplayer
What's not so great: after a little firefight you will be bored
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall I liked Halo 3 ODST.. I don't like how Bungie and Microsoft rip people off by releasing an exclusive map pack with the purchase of a $60 game. Only to release the same map pack months later for all the other standard H3 players, for $12.. Hmm.. Buy this game for the campaign, not the Multiplayer.. Good game, bad scam.. :)
What's great about it: Keeps the Halo feel going..
What's not so great: Shields do not self-heal.. And $60 for a map pack? Come on now Bungie..
I would recommend this to a friend!

Lets face it, its Halo, its a great game, though its not what people that dont play Halo expected, so, if you're a fan, this game is for you.
What's great about it: Its Halo, alternate story.
What's not so great: Too little time to be made, and no respective multiplayer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Similar to other "walk throughs", helpful in some areas and not so in others.
What's great about it: Informative and helped in progresssing through the game.
What's not so great: Print in many areas is small and the contrast in many areas, gray on black, is hard to read.
I would recommend this to a friend!
