Good stand if you decline the window mount

I read about the image vibration when using the dash mount review comment. Windshield mount is BEST. My Garmin 3597 is heavy so there is a double bounce from the mounting arm and from the base mount. Work around this by using best base mount contact with dashboard; next tilt the unit's bottom edge down to the base; next give the screen a little inward twist; ie you are wedging the base. This works well on a decent road.

I have struggled with other holders to keep my GPS from sliding all over my dash. Window holders just didn't work with changing temps. This holder stays where you place it. I don't have to worry if it will slide all over or off my dash anymore.

This mount works very well. It is small enough to fit on most contoured dashes. I have a Ford Fusion and it sits to the left of the gauges (by the frame pillar). Even though the dash has a decent slope, the mount holds well thanks to the grip surface underneath.

Based on reviews by others, I purchased this GPS mount with my Garmin GPS. I already have a "bean bag" mount but that slides all over the place. This mount, for now, has a sticky underside and holds the GPS securely in place. Happy with this purchase.
