This is a replacement for another like it that is 6 years old. It stays put even when driving on rough terrain. Your GPS unit mounts easily and is installed on top of the dash. Just plunk it down, plug it in and turn it on and you're ready to go. Best mount you can buy if you don't like leaving your unit in your car all of the time.

I had to replace my 12 year old Tom Tom and mistakenly with a Garmin. That was due to the Best Buy in NJ. The stand was the positive thing bought. I was amazed at how it stayed in place. I won't recommend the Garmin but if someone asked about the stand it would be a positive response.
