The adhesive on the bottom that holds the mount to the dashboard doesn't stick very well on dashes with curves but it sticks enough to not fly off when you hit a bump.

didn't work that well in my vehicles but it worked pretty well in my wife's car. I don't personally use this anymore as I went back to the windshield suction cup mount provided from my gps mfr.
Need a large dash and flat surface to put it on. Make sure it's a CLEAN surface for best results or it will not work as you hope.

I gave up in window suction cups holders long ago. The angle of my Hyundai windshield makes it tough to hold, and it fell off into my lap. I got this one, and it gripped well enough, but the dash is high and curved, so it is hard to reach. If yours is closer this could work well. I am trying out a mount that uses the CD player slot ( I don’t play CDs much and not in the car) and so far so good.
