I upgraded pads from the Insignia tablet for school. I've had this for about two weeks now and love it. The Samsung is such a joy to use. It's easier to use the keyboard, has a sturdier feel to it and overall is a major step up. The only thing is this is a smaller screen, but that does not bother me. I use this for email and general browsing. I still use the Insignia for gps only b/c it's a bigger screen.

IT APPEARS THAT IT WOULD TEAR UP MY DASH BOARD WHEN EVER I REMOVE IT TO MOVE ONE CAR TO ANOTHER. BAD BAD BAD
THE GPS COMES WITH VACUME MOUNTING DEVICE I DONT NEED TI ANYWAY.
THE BEST BUY SALES MAN SHOULD NOT HAVE US WE NRRDED IT WHEN WE BOUGHT THE GPS

Excellent addition to my new GPS. Love that I can hide it under the seat,
What's great about it: Easy to use. I got it half off, so great price as well.
What's not so great: I wish there was something to put on the bottom when stuff gets stuck to it.

Allows me to move GPS from car to car without leaving suction cup rings. Mat is more rubberized, doesn't use weight to prevent sliding like old style. Works great
What's great about it: Works great, doesn't slide around

I bought this cause I have seen another type of dashboard mount that is made of a bean bag and is unsightly...this one is sleek looking and doesn't even move, it has some sort of sticky bottom, but does't mark your dashboard...
What's great about it: The price was good and doesn't even slide off your dashboard
What's not so great: N/A
I would recommend this to a friend!

Garmin's suction cup windshield mount is terrible.
This is a great alternative. Works fine (More streamline than their beanbag model)
It is normally $45 but was on sale at Best Buy for $15 during Christmas. For that price it was a no brainer.
If it goes on sale again I would highly recommend it!
What's great about it: Couldn't beat the price !!
What's not so great: Nada

Does the job I need it for. Sits on the dashboard very securely and keeps Garmin at the right height for viewing.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Little to bulky
