This keeps my GPS in place where I want it. No more worries about it sliding all over my dashboard. When I'm done driving, I just pick it up and can put it in the trunk or under the front seat.....no more suction cup mark on the windshield that tells people that there is a GPS device in the car.

I love this mount. The windshield mount was always falling off and distracting me. The base of this mount can be "molded" to fit the curve of your dash and it then sits rock solid on the dash. It stays in place anywhere you place it. Simply pick it off the dash and place it out of sight when you get out of the vehicle. Pick it back up and set it on the dash when you return. It made my Garmin Nuvi much better to use. "Don't leave home without it!"
