I got this item on Black Friday for about 1/4 of the normal cost, so I am satisfied with it. If I had paid full price I probably would have taken it back. Not as good as the mount for my Streetpilot c340.
What's great about it: Easy to mount the GPS and easy to position.
What's not so great: Does not easily conform to your dashboard and the bottom is kind of "sticky" and picks up things easily.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice quailty and function. GPS did not move once I placed it on the dash. It did leave a oily smudge/footprint on the dash. Would probably come off if wiped with soap and water.
What's great about it: Quality product. Small footprint. Looks good.
What's not so great: Leaves smudges.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This product does what it advertises it will do. I tried multiple times to get it to slide and it stayed right where it was placed. I do notice the Garmin shakes more than when I use the window mount however knowing that it will not fall off while I am going 65 miles an hour is worth the slightly vibration.
What's great about it: Does what it says it will do
What's not so great: Vibration is more than window mount
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best mount on the market

Excellent friction mount that I found to be a great value for the money. All previous mounts I've had left marks on my glass from the suction cup, or required adhesive. This mount does everything it's supposed to... easy to mount your GPS, and the gel on the bottom is tacky enough to avoid slippage but leaves zero residue. Only complaint: the base of the unit is a bit large and takes up a bit more space than I was expecting on the dashboard. However, it's still a smaller base than other friction mounts I've seen on the market, and it looks better as well. Overall, highly recommend.
What's great about it: Great value for price, leaves no marks on dashboard
What's not so great: Slightly bulky
I would recommend this to a friend!

Buy it, but only at Black Friday's rate. not $40. Pretty convenient. I hate how the sticky area catches a lot of lint, and over time it doesn't seem as appealing/sticky. Pretty good, got it so I could reach it easier and that I wouldn't get a ticket.
What's great about it: Convenient, simple, sticks well
What's not so great: Slightly too big for containers/drawers to hold.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Its great taking GPS off the window and placcing it on the dash. I can put it off to the right, I also put it in front. I would tell you to get it.,
What's great about it: Takes GPS off the window
What's not so great: Stick bottem - may loose grip

This is quite easy to attach the Gramin and stays in place on the dashboard of my car.

The holder does work and does keep the Garmin from sliding; however, I only rated it a 3 star because it leaves a residue on the dashboard that is difficult to remove.
