This is a very unique game. You don't just go around and beat everyone. If you have seen recent batman movies, that is the type of experience you will get playing this game.
It has element of stealth, use of cool gadgets and awesome takedowns. And graphics.... JUST WOW. I don't even have to convince anybody one that. Plus, I also liked the story. The only setback I see, you have to like Batman and the way he takes care of business to like this game.
Briefly,
Pros.
-Awesome Graphics.
-Great story
-A true Batman game
-Great gadgets
-Love the stealth elements
-Awesome Batman bosses
-Decent duration (especially if you go after Riddler's puzzles)
-variety of gameplay(stealth,fights, puzzles, gadgets etc)
-A great experience overall
Cons
-You have to be a Batman fan to enjoy the game to its true extent
-Beating the thugs can get a bit redundant
A must buy
What's great about it: A true batman game
What's not so great: Intended for younger audience
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great game with multiple hours on entertainment. Overall this game is outstanding without the need for a online multiplayer - even thoguh that would be sweet. Riddler challenges offer that extra edge and replay value. Even when you beat the game u wan to go and find and finish all the riddler challenges.
What's great about it: Graphics, Gameplay, Riddler challenges, Mark Hamill
What's not so great: Vastness of Maps - and confusion
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is th best batman game ever. The grahics are awesome the game is awesome everything in this game is awesome. A MUST BUY FOR ACTION GAME LOVERS.

Finally a Batman game that is fun to play. Story: The Joker is on the loose in Arkham Asylum. He has sprung all the inmates from their confinment, most with personal grudges with Batman. Many of the iconic villians are here: Killer Croc, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, Bane, Riddler, and of course The Joker. Batman must regain control of the Asylum by putting down his enemies once again. Sometimes thru brute force, sometimes thru his intellect. Each situation demands a different solution. All the while trying to figure out what The Joker is really up to. Great storyline!
Gameplay: Fun and easy to pick up. Batman kicks butt right from the start, but the player can level up Batman as the story progresses by acquiring more and more gadgets.
Graphics: What you would expect from the PS3...this is grade A.
Atmosphere: a title that gets it right. Not creepy, but dark and intense. What you would hope for with a Batman game.
If you like Batman this is a no-brainer.
What's great about it: Great story, great graphics
What's not so great: linear gameplay, not a sandbox title
I would recommend this to a friend!

This game has it all! The story-line and flow of the game is impeccable. There have been so many jaw-dropping moments that I lost count after the second mission. We've all waited a long time for this game and it did not disappoint one bit. Playing as the Joker has been a trip too. Seriously the game is flawless; it is legit in every way and gives you an experience the comics and movies (except for BB and TDK) could ever give you. It MUST be experienced if you're a Batman fan! It definitely makes you feel like you're Batman the whole time and you use detective work and strategy to solve every mystery and attack every foe. The combat system is the best I've ever seen to date in an RPG. It is a dream come true.
What's great about it: Forensic tech, story-line, dialogue, solving riddles, free-flow combat, villains.
What's not so great: It ends.
I would recommend this to a friend!

First thing's first. This game is not based off the movie. This is based off Batman, period. The PS3 had a bonus over other platforms as you get to play as the Joker. The challenges and riddles left behind from Edward Nigma. Collecting character bios of everyone you come across in this twisted maze of Gotham's very own dark Arkham Asylum. Can even Batman survive a night locked up with ALL of Gotham's freaks and madmen?
What's great about it: We've come a long way since the last Batman game
What's not so great: still trying to find something....

Highly impressed with this game. It's very rare to find a game that has great graphics, great storyline, great gadgets and amazing voice overs. The puzzles and scenarios are extremely tricky and very well scripted. The stealth action is unbeatable. The game is very fun and was made with tons of care. I only wish there were better basic fighting moves. Small thing though because stealth takedowns are so much better. Buy this game today. It is one of those rare games that is worth every penny even at full price.
What's great about it: Just a very cool and intelligent.
What's not so great: Could have used some more basic fight moves.
I would recommend this to a friend!
