This is a great action/war game. My sons play it for hours. One is home and one is in college. They get to play together or against one another.
What's great about it: The interaction on XBOX live is great, great fire power!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent Multiplayer with new perks and options. If you liked COD4, you will love MW2.
What's great about it: More Multiplayer Customization
What's not so great: Short Campaign (though very long/difficult on the harder two difficulties)

The Call of Duty is both the best and the worst series I own for the 360. It has both the best action and the best looking graphics I have ever played and seen. It seems about as close to real action as any series out there. The biggest drawback however is the length of the games. They are FAR TOO SHORT! When you are spending $60.00 for new games, you want games that last longer than 6 or 7 hours of game time. That being said, the games themselves are still excelent.
What's great about it: Outstanding action and graphics. Great fun to play.
What's not so great: IT'S TOO SHORT. All of the past 3 games are over far too quickly. Add more missions.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Story and Special Ops are very good. Multiplayer mode is horrible.

Great Game

The special ops takes some skill they aren't straight forward easy. They do raise the skill level of the players and they are pretty fun. I would warm up to the game playing the spec ops. You can play them 2 players which is fun for 2 players on the same XBox 360.
Multiplayer is good but you are limited to 8 players per team. If you are a legacy player from the years past this might sound bad but on the XBox; who gives. The graphics are awesome and on HD 720 or 1080 is still awesome.
For game play, stealth and patience is rewarded. Sneak around! This is not Halo brazen gung ho tactics will only get you sliced. So have fun!
What's great about it: Great Spec. Ops & Excellent Multiplayer via XBL
What's not so great: Can't Play 2 players on XBL on the same XBox360
I would recommend this to a friend!

Definately a game worth buying. IW improved on mere perfection from COD: Modern Warfare. If you're thinking twice about getting it... DON'T! Get it! I hate spending so much for games, but it's definately worth the money.
I still wish there was a zombies mini-game, but I guess you can't have it all :)
What's great about it: Multiplayer, new weapons, perks
What's not so great: Storyline play a little short/easy, no party chat in most multiplayer modes
I would recommend this to a friend!
