This game was put together very well. The graphics and the sound effects are great and the game play falls right into place. The campaign is about 5 hours long on normal and 10 on Veteran but you will enjoy every Minute of it. There is also Special ops which is also great and gives you more game to play. You will be impressed with the online play with all the new maps. There are so many new weapons and there’s even a perk that allows you to have 2 primary weapon attachments. Perks can be upgraded. You can now chose you kill streaks to fit the way you play the game and then there are death streaks opposite of kill streaks that will help you out if you’re constantly getting killed. If you could only buy one game for the rest of the year this is it.
What's great about it: WoW the game play is the best
What's not so great: Haven't fround anything
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm writing this review to give you the full Modern Warfare 2 experience.This game is absolutely amazing.5 years after Modern Warfare, Makarov the man loyal to Zakhaev the guy you shot down in COD 4 wants revenge on everybody.An entire nation is duped into military action,and America is invaded by a foreign power.The campaign hops back and forth between the US and overseas.The enemies in cover are well better hidden than in Modern Warfare.Your allies are ready and willing to move up,help check the corners and even prompt you to move forward.The visuals are simply amazing with every scene looking like a major blockbuster movie.Over the course of the story you will infiltrate arctic bases,race to safety on snowmobiles,sprint over slum rooftops in Rio,hold fast food restaurants against invading armies and liberate the White House from enemy hands.The level designs are fantastic from start to finish.Some people might get very offended,but their is a play through were You shoot innocent civilians in a crowded airport.You don't have to play this part of the game if you don't want to.Modern Warfare 2's multiplayer is better than ever before.The big edition is Spec Ops mode.It's a collection of 23 missions designed for two players to battle their way thru.It also shows events that happened elsewhere within the game,as well as in Call Of Duty 4.Competitive multiplayer is what you're familiar with with as in COD 4.Leveling,perks,kill streaks rewards it's all here,and It's been tweaked and rebalanced for a better experience.You're constantly unlocking rewards earning XP for just about everything you do.Completing challenges for new gun attachments,leveling up perks,even opening up custom titles to display along side your name and matches.Kill streaks are now awarded for new vehicles,auto turrets,care packages for random bonuses,even to rain AC-130 from above.For those that play badly you're still rewarded you get a bonus for snapping a scoreless streaks of death.3rd person mode not all that great,you might play it once or twice,but that's it.Modern Warfare 2 is sure to be a game of the year,and it's a first person shooter that every first person shooter junkie should own.Infinity Ward you done it again.
What's great about it: Campaign Mode,Weapons,Voice Acting,Multiplayer,Sound FX,Music
What's not so great: 3rd person multiplayer

Good Graphics, kind of disturbing

The graphics are good, and the campaign is pretty fun. I haven't tried the special ops yet, but that should be cool too I guess. The online multiplayer is not as good as World at War, but it is still pretty fun I guess.
The thing that bothers me most about this game is the fact that it is a little over the top at times. The act of walking into a crowded airport and just mowing down innocent people by the hundreds with huge machine guns is horrific, immoral, and plain irresponsible by infinity ward. We see more and more of these horrible acts actually happening in the world today, and there is no reason for this to be part of the game.
I am typically not the person to complain about violence in a video game, because it is just a game. Well, this went WAY TOO FAR. It is actually kind of disgusting, and makes me feel bad for families involved in recent tragedies like this; i.e. Fort Hood, The incident in FL, Columbine....The game just goes too far.
What's great about it: The graphics are pretty great
What's not so great: Immoral, irresponsible and over the top. Kind of disturbing and scary.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

i have been a real call of duty fan and have been 10th prestige on 4 and 5 with all the achievements/trophies done. its needless to say that i was extremely excited for the game.
when i first put it in i was extremely let down. everyone buys it for the online gameplay and it was extremely interactive with many new features but you die way to fast and many people are unhappy like i am. personally i went through the campaign in 4 hours and finished spec ops the same day. it was fun the first time through but now that i have done everything it is not fun a second time through. i was extremely dissapointed with this game and if you are looking for a great holiday gift get left 4 dead 2 or assasins creed 2. those games are great and will leave you playing for hours on end
What's great about it: interactive campaign, graphics, spec ops
What's not so great: online multiplayer, short campaign, doesnt live up to hype
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I could've found a better price if i searched thoroughly. Although the game was great it broke twice. Luckily i had a warrantee.
What's great about it: Great game, one of the best ever!
What's not so great: Expensive compared to other places, brakes easily,

Im sure we can all agree that MW2 is the best call of duty ever. World at WAr had a nice run but MW2 blows it away. All the new perks, the guns are awesome, the new killstreaks are nice but the nuke is annoying because a lot of people camp just 2 get it. The game is the best except all the hacking when the game came out. (10 prestige hack,unlimited ammo, 18 person free-4-all, etc.) infity ward has patched most of these hacks so the game is finally the way it is supposed 2 be fun and stressful.
What's great about it: The new perks,maps,guns,killstreaks
What's not so great: HACKERS!!!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great when it first came out!

This is a fun game to mess around with but, it doesn't take long to get bored of and is very repetitive. The campaign is half way decent with amazing graphics and some difficulty, though it is pretty easy all together and quick to beat ( 1 week if play regularly). The multiplayer is fun for the first couple of days of play time, but gets old fast and guns get dull quickly! If you want to get achievements easily this game is for you! You will get tired of it fast and it will become a dust collector on your shelf! Play it first from a friend or blockbuster, then decide if you want to buy it!
What's great about it: Looks good and is fun the first time you play it!
What's not so great: Repetitive, guns are dull and equally matched, plot is jumpy
I would recommend this to a friend!
