I love this battery back-up. It's one of three I own. Most of the time we just think a surge protector will do the job and 95% of the time it will, but it's those high end items you may want to consider a battery back-up for instead. I lost a TV in a recent storm that was only on a surge protector thinking it would be OK. It wasn't.

The items I had on the battery back-up worked per usual. I purchased this backup for a security camera system to continue to run for a bit after power outage. I was amazed it to see it still running after 50 minutes though the only thing I had on this backup was the camera DVR.

Another great thing about these is that you can hook up your internet thru them and it's nice to be able to keep your WIFI running for an extra hour which is nice when you want to check up on progress of power outages online.
They are in my opinion a must have for those high end items or things you don't want to shut down immediately when the power goes out.
