Good machine, rugged and reliable. software not working 100% with windows 7 64-bit as sleep mode makes the fan run as if the UPS has changed from AC to DC. Hibernate no troubles.
This is running 2 pcs, 4 screens and various hubs, etc with about 15 minutes reserve.

reliable backup

this is the third APC backup battery/'surge protection product that i have purchased in the last few years. purchased on 1-28-11,power went out on 2-2-11 for over 2 hours,and the product did it's job-worked perfectly!

Excellent feedback on LCD. Runtime (1500VA) is excellent for the price. Completely Plug and Play with Windows 7, no software installation required at all. Can't ask much more of a UPS than one that "just works", looks great, and is a great bargain price wise.

Easy to install however, they say the software is in the box, you have to go to the web site and download it. Tech support is the best ever!!! That means a lot. Would highly recommend this battery back up. Too bad its not made in the USA might give some folks a job.

Great backups

This unit is simple to set up and has all the features I need to protect my iMac and printer. I especially like the fact there is no need to install any software for the backups to communicate with my iMac. It works as promised and quality is number one from APC>

Great Unit If It Works Out of the Box

I originally purchased the unit at a retail store and it did not work out of the box. I reset the battery and it started but the battery check fails on a cold start. I put in a service request and a representative from Schneider called a few days later and quickly sent another unit. The second unit was dead on arrival. I reset the battery and it started but upon turning it off and moving it to my computer it was dead again. Schneider quickly sent out another unit which works perfectly. Schneider support is great. I hope they find out what the quality control issue is. I love their products.
