It's a great game if you're a fan ! ! ! Make sure to pick up Rock Band 2 also !
What's great about it: The music
What's not so great: No other bands

Nice game in overall. Pretty simple, not too much left for imagination. We like the songs, they are nice to play and sing! Fun for the entire family.
What's great about it: Easy to play
What's not so great: Some songs we like are not available, have to download, etc.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have Rock Bank and Guitar Hero and have enjoyed playing those but most of the songs we didn't know. With the Beatles Rockband it seems everyone (even our kids) knew the songs and enjoyed singing. Of course, we are old Beatles' fans!
What's great about it: We knew the songs
What's not so great: nothing that we could find

If you love the Beatles and you love fun, then you'll love this game. Heck, even if you don't love the Beatles, it's still a really fun game.

This game is awesome, fun, and everyone can play it. For true beatles fans or not. No matter who you are you can enjoy this great jump through the holy grail of music. One down side is song choice. The songs are great but only 50 come on the disc. I downloaded every album but some may not want to due to the cost of them. They are relatively cheap but true fans have to have them all so buying them can become expensive if you purchase in bulk. Other than that the game is fun and has a huge replay value.
What's great about it: Awesome graphics and visual concepts.
What's not so great: Not too many songs. Buying the DLCs is very much recommended but it can be pretty expensive to own every DLC.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Spans the generations!

We bought this game to take to a Rock Band party. The attendees were in their 20s, 30s and 40s. My husband and I were the oldest, in our 50s. And yet, everybody had a great time! Though most didn't know all the lyrics by heart, they all were familiar with the melodies, and got a real kick out of being able to play them, no matter what level of proficiency. After about an hour, one man in his 30s exclaimed to his wife, "Man! We gotta get this!"
As for game play, it is exciting and challenging. You can progress through the levels without a great deal of frustration, but still feel like you're accomplishing something. The practice feature allows you to learn the individual melodies and harmonies, so you can finally sing any part in the car!!! We'll be playing this game for a very long time, especially if they keep offering new downloads and/or additional games.
What's great about it: Everybody knows the Beatles!
What's not so great: Not enough songs -- we want them ALL!
I would recommend this to a friend!
