I upgraded from an older model epson printer and have found this to be much faster,much easier and cleaner in its operation. I especially liked the step by step installation and set up. For my or anyone else I would recommend this machine for home use. I just recently printed some pictures recieved on e-mail, printed them on photo grade paper they looked as good as developed pictures.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Used for small business, printing both documents and directly to CD's. It is excellent, printed approximately 200 CD's on first black ink cartridge and replaced ink with no problems at all. It is a bit noisy, but functionality is outstanding.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My New Epson

The Artisan 50 is the third epson colour printer that I have owned and I have been a loyal Epson customer for 15 years. My previous c62 performed admirably for over 5 years, so when it was time to buy a new printer I looked only at Epson models and selected the Artisan 50. I am extremely happy with this printer. It was easy to install, and very user friendly to use. The quality of the print, both colour and black and white is superb. The bonus programs that come with this printer are also excellent. I would highly recommend this printer for its price point value, ease of installation,quality of print, and user friendly manual and support materials.

EXCELLENT!!
This is the best printer I have owned, and I have
4, and 4 I use at work that makes 8. I am now
seriously looking at getting the 4800. I am in the
graphic design field at a screenprinting shop and
we do a lot of our own flyers, customer approval
prints and colour sheet work orders. I have used
it to print 8"X10" full colour photos and they look
amazing there is no banding in the half tones,
there is no line breaking in th black no matter
which angle you look at it. I would highly recommend
this printer. Relativly inexpensive ink, and you can replace only the colours you need.

It was very easy to install. Does a great job on printable DVDs. Excellent printing. Pictures printed very good. Crisp color. Would definitely reccomend this printer

R200 only better

I bought this printer to replace my R-200 I bought about 10 years ago. I was pretty sad when the old printer died and I wondered if there was a good replacement out there. The Artisan 50 has taken the place of the old R-200 and I'm happy to say that it is quieter, faster, better than my old reliable R-200 which is saying a lot. The print quality is better and I could not be more pleased. I knew going in that the ink was expensive, but I'm used to that. If you don't use genuine epson ink, your printing will show the difference. If you don't care, I guess that's ok. I print a lot of CD covers so quality printing is a big deal for me. The print cd software is not much different if at all so there is no learning curve if you have already used it. This is a lot of printer for not much money, and all it does is print, it's not a do it all printer. But what it does, it does extremely well and that's where the rubber meets the road for me. Great Job Epson, I'm a fan now for going on two decades.
