Great little printer

My R260 died (hardware failure) after 5 years of pretty intense use printing note cards, larger prints, labels and documents of all shapes and sizes. The Artisan 50 right out of the box worked great. I even installed my older cartridges from the R260 as they were half full. The charging process ate a bit more ink than I expected but that's the way of ink jet technology. Changing out spent cartridges worked flawlessly. The prints look great, the printer runs quiet and seems a bit faster than the R260. Overall, I am very happy with the Artisan 50. Hopefully it will continue to perform well for many years to come.

This is my 3rd printer purchase form Epson. The first two printers...a Stylus R 340 & 1280 are still in GREAT working condition. I would recommend Epson products & service to everyone.

Epson Artisan 50 ink jet printer

Easy setup. Great Color on both printable dvd's and photo paper.I Linked it to my other wireless printer for scanning in Photo's. Software is very easy to use and very intuitive...I like simplicity and thus printer has it....
I would recommend this to a friend!

I replaced my R220 photo printer with the Artisan 50 as it was literally the only printer I could find with disc printing capabilities. The Artisan 50 prints at a very high resolution on any type of paper or printable CD/DVD. The print time is also very fast. I would recomend this printer to anyone looking for a high-quality photo printer.

I can not print ID Cards
and it was the porpuse I did this purchase

This printer is great! I am a freelance photographer and have recently got this to print photo's for clients. The photo's turn out great and really look like they were printed professionally. Anyone that would like to print professional looking photo's should get this printer.

Good deal for price

This color printer is a bargain for the price. I will use it occasionally for flyers and media packets, not heavy duty printing. It is sturdier than other cheap color printers. I like that the ink cartridges are separated, so you just pay for the color that wears out.
