Printing CD/DVDs on Epson Artisan 50

I purchased this printer to print CD/DVD labels using my MAC computer. The printer works fine but I cannot use the Print CD software with the Mac. I loaded it onto the PC and it works great. But I am very disappointed that I cannot get it to work with the Mac. I received an e-mail from Epson with suggestions but none worked.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Printing my DVDs with the Epson Artisan 50 Inkjet

I really like the Epson Artisan 50 Inkjet Printer
very much...there is a rather difficult "learning curve" that comes along with the printer...but with a lil' paitence and study I was able to accomplish my objective...which was to print the DVDs that I produce. The printer does a very nice job..so my DVDs look pretty nice for my customers. The software and label printing programs are pretty easy to use and do a nice job...The only problem is that it sucks up ink from the cartridges pretty fast...and it takes (6) cartridges. Overall tho...I highly recommend it.

Quiet, Fast, Efficient

Was sad to let my 820 go after seven years of service, but couldn't be more delighted with the Artisan 50. Easy set-up. 30 minutes tops. First printout and all others are fast, smooth and rather quiet. Colors are bright and finding machine is pretty good with ink supply. So far most satisfied.

Epson Artisan 50 printer

I like the Artisan 50 because it provides very good quality text and photos reliably and inexpensively. I have had at least ten Epson printers over the years, and used to do exhibition quality photos with more expensive models.(My favorite was the Stylus Photo R800-no longer available.)I currently operate 3 Epson printers, and two of them are Artisan 50's. The size and weight make them easy to handle when moving is necessary.

If you don't use or need fax this is by far the best buy of all 4 of the Epson Printers that I have owned. I have been amazed at the quality of prints I'm getting now. I'm using lower settings now, photo instead of best photo, thus using less ink and getting a sharper image.

Exceeding Expectations

Right out of the box, the printer started making money for me. Excellent driver for Snow Leopard and INDD integration. Able to handle funky sizes and heavy weights without the slipping and skewing I have had with so many other inkjets.
Seems well designed and durable - hopefully will be able to handle a sustained load of quality printing over time.
I would recommend this to a friend!
