Great printer for greeting cards
on August 22, 2013

I wanted a top feeding printer that wouldn't jam when printing on heavy card stock and could also print directly on CDs. The Artisan 50 had good reviews so I gave it a try. It delivered! I'm totally pleased with how easy it is to use and the quality of the printing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Quality Print on both Photos and Documents

The Epson Artisan prints very nice quality photos and documents. I have not used it enough yet to comment on the volume of ink usage. The only thing that I am slightly disappointed with is the operating software packaged with it. It is very simplistic and I really think that Epson could have done a better job of including more editing capabilities with their included software.

I've used a lot of printing in my Photography business and have that Epson is the top of the line of printer for Photographer, this printing is a work house for my business it able to handle a large number of photo prints per day, I'm able to output close to 250 per day without loss of over all look of the image, I would buy this printer again as it's a great printer for it's cost.

Printer roller marks
on December 16, 2013

I bought this printer because I heard it was good for printing greeting cards. I have square images and use square cards from another company. At the time they were the only glossy square cards to be found. When I use them there are printer roller marks on the images. That really bothers me. So I end up printing my square cards on the Epson 2880.

Impressive

I bought this printer for outputting my graphic design, school assignments. Once I figured out the proper print settings, the colors were a perfect match to my monitor. Even the smallest details were crisp.
Even people in the print business ask me where I got my portfolio printed. I tell them I did it at home on my little printer. They're impressed.

best Picture prints for the money
on July 28, 2014

There are a lot of printers out there that print good pictures. Some of these printers print great pictures but they cost a lot of money. This printer gets great professional quality prints for the fraction of the cost of the other printers. Very vivid colors, very clean prints. If you outgrow this printer, then you'll be ready to jump into the R series of Epson printers.

New Printer

I have been looking for a replacement for an older photoprinter to print greeting cards that my wife paints and I shoot then print on medium weight card stock. I do this as well as print photos. The A50 is the answer and then some. The straight paper path permits feeding card stock easily and the print quality is excellent.I went through two other printers before picking the right one. Thanks Epson!
