What's great about it: manson will only get better
What's not so great: it took a while for this to come out.

I am a huge MM fan and have been since the mid-90s. It is so refreshing to finally have new music from Manson, but this CD may not gain back some of his lost fans during the Eat Me Drink Me era. Some of the songs sound like b-sides from that album. He has gotten back some of the creative edge he delivered in the Golden Age of Grotesque, but not much of the in your face abuse as in Holy Wood. This album really reminded me of Antichrist Superstar overall.
I would suggest opting for the bonus disk; some of the alternate versions are great. I even liked some better than the album versions. The album/alternate versions are better than the Unruly Demos.
What's great about it: It's new MM music and the bonus disk
What's not so great: It's too remniscent of Eat Me Drink Me
