I got this movie as a joke for my husband. He watched it as a little boy living in rural Nebraska. Now that we find ourselves living in small town Nebraska, my sons and I thought it would be funny to have him watch it again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First off, the copy and paste reviews from somewhere else is kind of lame.
Second off, this movie is/was awful. Saw it in the theatre with a friend at 19. It is poorly written, the acting is barely passable. An intriguing storyline, but ultimately this should be done with the Mystery Science theater guys, that would make for a watchable feature, don't waste your time or money on this.
What's not so great: not very interesting
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Based on the Stephen King short story, this is the very first movie that started a franchise. A young couple are traveling through Nebraska and run into a small town where there seems to be no one around.
They finally discover that the town is full of nothing but people under the age of 18, all the adults are mysteriously gone from the town. The couple must search through the town-and the corn-to find the secret that is within.
