Now while I’m personally a fan of the 4K transfer this film got back in 2017, I myself was hoping we would get a new 4K restoration with this Steelbook release that would have been truer to the original version of the film. Nonetheless, this is a very cool addition to my collection

The best Terminator movie, period.

Terminator 2 is hands down the best movie in this troubled franchise. Arnold is THE best and ONLY terminator, good or bad (I actually prefer him playing the vicious T-100 in the first movie, but he's cool in this one). Once again, Lionsgate delivers an awesome steelbook with great artwork that comes with a detailed slip cover. No matter how many different versions of this movie you own (I have many), you must add this one to your collection. Terminator 2 never looked better in 4K.

It's all in the packaging

The packing itself is awesome and pretty much is the sole reason to get this edition. The 4K transfer is only for the original theatrical version, which is a pity and why this set loses a star. It's a shame that the 4K transfer itself is also just ok because the movie is great and deserved a little bit better. The steelbook artwork and slipcover are really cool and even the discs themselves have unique artwork, it's the packaging that makes this worth it.
