Does Not Work with their Own TVs!

I recently bought a 65inch 8000 series samsung TV. During the sales pitch, I was shown the features of Allshare cast and the ability to view live TV from the TV to the Tablet. I was completely sold on these features so I bought both the TV and the Tab 3 at the same time. It turns out NONE of these features work with the Tab 3 10.1. Sure all these other features work on their other tablets, but not their Tab 3. I was excited to drop iOS to go to this tablet, but now it's gathering dust on a table. If you're buying this for the video mirroring that samsung loves to show off on their TVs, beware that it doesn't work on this tablet!
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, doesn't have same features as previous model, does work with samsung tvs
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really like my Tab 3

I like the Tab 3 but I don't care so much for the back button it's in a location that my fingers all seem to hit and then I'm trying to talk to the tablet to tell it no no... stay... I didn't mean that.
I do like a lot about it though... the voice command options are amazing. I live in Texas and it understands my Texas drawl with no problems. I ask it what is the weather and it tells me and so much more I can speak anything even just our "Texas words" and it seems to know them too. I was pretty shocked. lol. I don't use it as much as I planned to but I do enjoy using it.
I read the battery doesn't hold long my will last 3-4 days with no use but with some use (my husband loves the games and you tube for cars and dogs we can use it for the evening of maybe 2 nights so maybe 6-8 hours depending on what he's doing on it.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Inexpensive, Lightweight, can open a kazillion tabs
Cons: undo button location
I would recommend this to a friend!

Even with lower specs I love the way this tablet performs! Watching movies playing games and working is a real joy. Thank you samsung for another great tablet.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, good gameing, good video player

Santa brought my Galaxy Tab 3 for Christmas and I love it. I've owned the Galaxy Note 2 phone for over a year so using the Tab 3 is a walk in the park. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality machine.

Battery Issue with the white tablet

I have owned Both the tab 2 10.1 and a Black and White Tab 3 10.1 the battery does not charge on the 6 month old White Tab 3 this was a issue out of the box it is being sent back to Samsung for repair, we'll see how that turns out....
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: Not high def, Did not meet expectations, has to be sent out to be repaired
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What I like the most about this tablet is the option to expand the memory capacity with a SD card. Also the design of the table is very nice. A really light tablet to carry.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, expandable memory capacity

Shamefully Poor Performance

Unfortunately found the Tab3 snail slow. Could see the screen acknowledge the touch but 3/4 of time the Tab3 didn't respond; camera would not turn on/off, video trim failed to activate, websites loaded like old-fashioned dial-up, Tab3 would freeze up. Read entire online manual and liked features -- too bad Tab3 performed so poorly. Returned Tab 3 for refund after a month and purchased Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2013), which performs 500% better than Tab3. Another customer returned a Tab3 at the same time for the same reasons.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, easy to hold
Cons: Did not meet expectations, poor performance
