the flash light so disappointed

The Flash Light makes me too disappointed. It goes up and down look weird, and takes up the space if I use both hands to shoot a picture. 12MP and 10 Optical Zoom are perfect, because it keeps up with new age. If the LCD is bigger, more better, more beautiful.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Point & Shoot with DSLR features

Great point & shoot, can be as simple or as complex as you like given the added features/settings.
Takes very good pics, and allows the enthusiast to get creative!
Pros: Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, Bright LCD, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
Cons: price

Powerful yet small size

I normally carry two cameras. One large and bulky camera that I need for its powerful zoom and to compose complex shots, and another small shirt pocket size for ease of handling and operation. This camera replaced both. It has superb zoom feature and various settings to take the most complex pictures. I was horrified when I dropped my camera on a concrete floor. I was sure that it was the end of it. I picked it up the flash was out of its seat, bent, the corner of the camera was scratched. I was able to reset the flash and closed the camera. I then crossed my fingers hoping that it will at least show some sign of life. It operated like nothing happened. The flash snapped oppened without remorse! It is really a delight to see super construction.
Pros: good battery life, Good Low-Light Performance, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, durable, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu, easy to use, strong construction
Cons: flash needs to get used to.

good overall camera

Just got the camera and have only used it a few times. I was able to easily make adjustments so that I could get decent shots at a swim meet, which was why I purchased this higher end point and shoot. Features are really easy to understand. The color was not perfect upon printing, but at least the pictures were clear and the lighting was bright enough. The camera is small enough to carry around without being cumbersome. I like it so far, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a higher end point and shoot.

Well worth the $$

I got this last February and take it everywhere in my medium sized purse. I'm not sure how to adjust all of the settings for daylight, nighttime, etc. There's some controls that I've never used, that need to read up on! **Well worth the money & a GREAT starter camera for anyone interested in photography. **
